  • I think going bald and/ or having your hair gray at an early age is underrated. When you are like 60, everyone's like, "Damn, you look like you did when you were 20!"

  • Love this song alot.... vid. doesn't have that great quality... oh well. Good song <3

  • LMAO...you can't help but laugh!

  • Classic!

  • OMG! memories i did this for a talent show at school xD

  • Wonderful. Great to see again. Saw it when he came to town way back when. It's still funny as heck! Good comedy never dies.

  • Steve hit #17 in Billboard, 8-12-78. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

  • @DaveWollenberg Today would be the 33 Year anniversary! :)

  • King Tut - gave his life for tourism! Oh my god this is so brill. Went to see the exhibition as a child but this song beats it so!!!!! God bless Steve Martin.

  • Why the fucking hell was this so popular?

  • @GlanceofGlory

It's like a train wreck, you don't wanna look, but you just gotta. lol

  • @GlanceofGlory Internet trolls never think anything is good.

  • @Jacksona99

You don't know what trolling is.

  • @GlanceofGlory Because at the time the KING TUT exhibit went on tour (by train) across the United States for the very first time and millions came out to see the tour when it came to their city. It was really the big thing at the time and there was a certain sanctity to it because it was some ancient dead dude. Then Steve Martin came out and spoofed it.

  • best rap song ever

  • I haven't heard this song in years. I always loved this song when it came out when I was in 5th grade. Thanx for posting this one and happy new year! :-)

  • “Tut’s Harrow Arrow Hit Point Barrow” A boy’s errant rubber Egyptian arrow Slick and narrow Shot by Student Tut At School at Harrow Landed in his Winter Condo Stona Brrrrrr! Colda! Up in Alaska’s distant Old Point Barrow.
  • Saw Steve in Montreal this summer hosting the Just for Laughs festival. He performed this song with his Blue Grass band. It was a night I`ll never forget, Steve was funnier than ever, a true professionnal, a real legend.

  • Go King tut. they should show this in school to teach the kids about The boy king

  • i have memories of my father (58-06) singing this song and dancing around the kitchen with those awesome tut moves. I've never seen my mother laugh so hard

  • The days of disco and fun. Also nobody did crystal in those day, but they did tons of coke. Occassionally people did what was called "crank" which is similary to crystal but aside from Mick Jagger and some other burn outs nobody did crank and certainly nobody did crystal as it was not even known about.

  • i love this!!!

  • LOL, I had the album this song was on when I lived in Albuquerque.

    Timothy

    :o)

  • Ah the good old days of pure coke, crystal and the best pot around which I haven't done in years, I'd probably have a heart attack. Where's my magic wand when I need it.

  • steve martin has been the same age for 30 years

  • @wilcerf91

that's exactly what i was thinking

  • @wilcerf91 That's the one benefit of going grey at 30. :)

  • I can't even begin to fathom how much coke he must have been on back when this was recorded.

  • henry winkler in the background is so random and crazy

  • Hahaha Steve Martin is one of a kind! Very funny stuff lol

  • best rap song before rap was rap. ;-)

  • I've lived in Arizona . . .never been to Babylonia.

  • Haha xD

  • haha i did a dance to this song :)

    good times

  • Falsetto voice, the ladies love his style. He ate a Crocodile. He gave his life for tourism.Steve nails it, as usual. Screamingly funny. Some big time Archeologists used this at a big event they held. If I remember right they hired Steve, and his backup troupe to perform it for them. Some of them had worked on the Tut Artifacts,an they'd all worked on Mummies. You can't make stuff like that up. Then throw the Jerk into the mix. I was born a poor Black child! You mean I'm gonna stay this color?
