The stock neck pup isn't bad for clean, and you can split it with the single-coil for the twangy R&B/Pop rhythm tone, but the distortion in full humbucker mode is a little muddy for my taste. Good luck...

No, the original Infinity pups suck. Swap them out for something else like high-output Dimarzio or SD's if you're into Metal. I have this guitar and an RG470AH as well. I swapped the neck pup for a Dimarzio PAF Pro in the 470AH, and it made a world of difference. I'm going to do the same to my 350DX. BTW, I rarely use the middle or bridge pup for soloing which is why I only swap the neck pup...

RG350DX? Well, for a low budget Ibanez it's quite good allround guitar. The standard pickups are not that bad, but if you have the coin you could put on some better ones. I bought mine just to have a basic cheap heavy-guitar and I'm very happy with it. The bride however seem a bit weak, and I easily get the idea that it's why it's considered a low budget guitar.

No, for me personally I have a thing against Les Pauls, they are outstanding for playing blues but for everything else I think they are just average. there is a video on here called 'advantages and disadvantages of heavy metal guitars' look it up it should have some pointers for you. :)

I actually own an ESP myself, and I think they are great, I don't own thier best model I admitt, but I have one of thier better ones in my opinion, they can handle multiple tones rather nicely, and ESP's own pickups are acually not that bad I must say. But I'll message you with my opinion on the one you're interested in. =)

if you can see right before the head stock there is a peice there that locks your strings so they will not go out of tune :) pretty handy

yeah if you listen to tmccoy12 there is a locking nut at the bottom of the headstock but if you just wanna get a new trem i would recomend something like a khaler or a licensed floyd rose.

The Schecter demon 6 fr has got Active Seymour Duncan Pickups and a Floyd Rose Original Tremolo System while the ibanez have got own made stuff...

i play with an RG350DX, i have to say that i love the way it plays.

The Edge 3 trem is not the greatest of quality, but as long as you dont plan on going crazy on it and pulling insane stuff like Vai, you should be fine. And you could later on upgrade to one of ibanez's more sturdy Bridge such as the Edge Pro....

However if u want to go insane from the start, doing dive bomb after dive bomb.... get the Shecter.

But i must give it up to the Ibanez cus i love mine!

im not an expert guitarist but id say kh202 because the guitar was especially made to try and fit the tone of metallica.

as for the rg350dx is great but might not have that exact tone that the kh202 was made for.

Yeah, the RG350DX is only available in white unless you do the paint job yourself. And it can play whatever you yourself are capable of playing. ;)

Yeah, Ibanez is pretty good quality. Don't get something too cheap though, or you'll just be back buying another guitar within a year. The RG350DX can be bought brand new for about 400 bucks.

No, if your guitar have a nut and a string retainer ( the things at the neck). These things keep the strings in tune.

No! Unless you have a Floyd Rose Tremolo system(same as this one) you won't be having a hard time in tuning it once you're having frenzy on the tremolo.
