  • dont let anybody fool u that our politicians r fools,, they r not !! IF Turkey

was rich as their supporters claim Y the fuck do this islamist con mer-

chants stand to RAKEin €30 BILLION every year paid4from OUR TAXES??

  • Turkish people are also against joining the EU either. So there should be no problem.

  • It wouldn't be as bad if turks had wealth to bring to European countries. Instead, they mainly come in search of work and a better way of life.

  • there's another MEP from Britain that said more or less the opposite; he was definitely defending Turkey's right to join; I think he is a conservative by the name of Dan but I don't know his whole name; either way the idea is: UKIP does not represent the will of the British people; only a small subset of it;

  • EU should settle objective borders of possible enlargements. Either it includes the possibility of enlarging to Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia or it excludes all those 5 countries. But I think, anyway, that there should be an organization, apart from the Council of Europe, that would allow all those 5 countries to join, if agreements are made, to join the Schengen agreement, the Euro, the European Fundamental Rights Charter and other European policies, beyond mere association.

  • are you ot of your mind ??? Turkey with its climate, culture and history is a paradise. Nobofy wants to go to europe

  • @muzzymemo There are currently 2 million turks in Germany alone.

  • this is ridiculous. EU stands for employment rates. I am sure it has a wider vision than this Wales guy represents.

  • @SoundofIstanbul well majority of British don't want Turkey to join the EU! more than 70 million people to get the right immigrate to UK!! hell no! plus they are mostly muslims, and unfortunately muslims fail to integrate and end up becoming radical Islamists. the tube bombers were children of immigrants, who most British wish had never been allowed in the country.

  • Thank You For Not Supporting TURKEY for EU.I Realy Apriciate.Your the best.

  • @zippo807 me too !

islam has no place in our brotherhood

    i'm from Germany

  • @RemixMD With one tiny difference.I am TURKISH.

  • @zippo807 yeah that's what i say ) ur country is not econimic weak ,.... it can't stand for itself don't u agree?

  • @RemixMD Sory.I misunderstood your first comment ?

  • im turkish i dont want turkey in the EU.turkey has the resources and the ambition to stand on its own.as you can understand by john buffon's speech,he doesnt even discuss if turkey is eligible to join, he simply says the uk cant deal with more people coming in to their country.maybe this is because of poland ???? hmmmm the last EU-enlargement has badly effected the EU and its obvious it cant deal with turkey joining in.EU should be honest and brave enough to completely cut off turkey.

  • well said, it will damage EU

  • 70 million turks wouldnt wanna leave their country to get a better life or work. coz most of them have already got a good life and job in Turkey. why would we wanna go to UK and have trouble finding a job if we already have them here. turks probably just wants to travel and doesnt want to pay a lot of money for the visas.

  • @pasortolgi is that why all the Turks who went to Germany in the 60's on "Temporary Work Visas" have never left? violating German Law.

    You're not fooling anyone.

The Turks illegally occupied half of Europe for 500years. You wont do it again.

  • let turkey join the EU. just make the uk leave the EU first!! see how keen the other member states will be if the UK wasnt part of the plan.

  • Turkey is an Islamic country, is totall alien to the West and her values. There is no way that Turkey should join the EU. NO WAY.

  • There is no reason 70 million Turks would come to the UK. More likely it will be in the range of one hundred thousand, i think. The IMF prejects Turkeys income per capita in 2015 (earliest date mentioned for entry) to be 1.4 times that of Poland when it entered the EU. Now I think Turkey wont be ready to join untill 2020, by wich the average Turk will earn about 2 times that Pole when he enterd the EU. So whats the fuss? Average wage in Turkey is allready higher then in some EU countries...

  • @ikilicoglu The fuss is that it's a culture so diametrically different to ours that it should stay seperate. Moreover- population of Turkey is twice as large as the new EU countries plus their different mentality would create only chaos and crime (just look at Germany) as opposed to work ethics and contribution of Poland and the likes. Turkey IS A MUSLIM country and should NOT MIX with righteous Europeans.

  • There are 30+ million Turks in Europe (10 million in Turkey, 8 million in the EU,12 in Russia, Ukraine and the caucasus). So they are an integral part of Europe. The first Turks to arrive in Europe, from the 4th century onwards, were the Huns, Avars and Bulgars, none of whom were muslim. And the way the Turks view their religion in my view isnt that diffrent from the Europeans. Most Turks dont go to a mosque, about 30% drinks alcohol, homosexuality is legal. I think they are becoming europeans.

  • Since when were the Huns ever considered apart of the european family? They were alien terrorist and hunted down accordingly.

"integral part of Europe" thats a good laugh.

Washing dishes, Sweeping Roads, Collecting Unemployment, Robbing Old Ladies and Hustling Crack Cocaine is hardly being an integral part of europe.

And Homosexuality isnt legal in Europe. It IS however legal in Turkish Bathhouses. Ottoman Dog.

  • They will call him racist for this, and so will half of the UK public, it is a shame that new words are created and used against us to such great effect. Turkey is a MASSIVE country who has porous borders with countries in the middle east where security is non existent.

  • Oh why not?

Sure let the Turkey in. Only after we (and probably others) are out.

  • A rare voice of reason.
