Acer Iconia Tab W500 vs Apple iPad 2 - accelerometer test

I have a acer iconia tab W500 with windows 7, and I dont know why but now I want an ipad 2 and I hate my W500, i suppose because is like my laptop but without keyboard, anything in my iconia tab w500 is smooth, I feel like I wasted 499 euros...

Windows 8 Metro seems much smoother when adjusting the orientation of a tablet, which suggests that it will be better suited for tablet use. Especially when compared to Windows 7 which isn't well suited for tablet use. Which was the point we were trying to make.

this video is a blatant lie. I work with both of these tablets and the acer is the exact same speed with the accelerometer. the Acer tab is so much better in other fields too. Expandable memory, more ram. it just pwns

And the ipad is a mobile OS vs a full blown OS. It's like comparing a car and an orange, the orange is nowhere near as fast as the car (duh) it's a stupid comparison.

@robertcdf Seems like a fair comparison considering the Iconia Tab W500 has twice as much RAM and a significantly faster dual core processor, yet it can't rotate a screen image smoothly.

@ITPROmagazine okay for whoever thinks this is fair the w500 is loading and entire fully functioning laptop computer system even if you have 12 gigs of ram and the highest amd or nvidia graphics card you still cant change orientation because it has to much to process if there was a mobile version of windows it would be better but there is not "YET" and the ipad cant even play flash like the windows tablet so after they get full support for everything then do a test...

@bjtrueblue There were 6.5 mobile versions of windows. They were called "windows mobile" and I used to only buy devices that ran on them, but they also had problems with rotation and an ugly GUI
