Can someone who actually played this game answer this question: Is it anygood? I want to state my own opinion and say "Yes" But knowledge is power :D And to me this looks like a 4/5 star game. *I'm easily amused* ^.^

This reminds me of the Warcraft game I played for PSX, except in high graphics and epic dialogue.

Not sure what to make of that. I'd rent it before buying it though.

Amen to that. I enjoy 2d games just as much, if not more, than 3d games. Seriously, 2d games hold up very well to the test of time where 3d dont so much. Just look at Legend of Mana and Symphony of the Night. They are still masterpieces to this day.

I kinda have to call BS on that. Stories are only part of why people play games. Art direction and gameplay are other important factors that can't be overlooked. I suppose Shadow of the Colossus would be a great example. It accomplishes much using little. Most stories have been retold in one form or another since before history was written down. Love stories, life transition stories, stories on why people fight, stories on the heroic ideal, etc. Interesting characters can carry a story along.

Just about all of Idea Factory's games are crap. Maybe the anime pictures are good enough for some people... But let me say this, I've played a few of these games (Generation of Chaos 2, 4, 5, Rebirth Moon) I bought them all on discount btw lol, and the load times are horrible, the story barely moves along at all... it's crap. You want some good RPGs go for Tales of... games, you want some good RTSes, go for ones that are NOT japanese, japanese don't know how to do RTSes well.

this game looks ok, i wasnt too great at RTS games...although im great with tactical strategies like FFtactics and whatnot thats what im looking forward to Disgeia 3 but games like starcraft..ugh i suck at em.

regarding the graphics -- PS3 should definately use its power/capabilities for shooters and whatnot, but i think that RPGs shouldnt look as real...after all they are fantasy and are supposed to be "out there"

I like how everyone whines about "not using its capabilities" i agree to an extent...yes the PS3 has amazing power that isn't used fully in most of its games...yet.

but RPGs like this look better like this anyways. Just because it has the ability to go above and beyond doesnt mean it has to for every game put out for it. sometimes keeping the classic layout/format of RPGs is best. Like the final fantasy's for instance...i like 12 and all, but i would much prefer the turn based/ATB system.

I love rpg, srpg, etc. Yet, this game looks like a waste of time and a shameless robbery. The static images are just the proof. It would be an average game if it was for the pc. Lot of games follow the tactic/novel type. But in the ps3, it is just low. Ps3 is supposed to be 'next generation.' Just my opinion though.

I don't think the PS2 can support these many things going on at the same time without having problems... also for people who have a US PS3 and US PS2 if they made this game for the PS2 you wouldn't be able to play it since this probably won't come to the US. Japan PS3 games could be played on US PS3s because it is region free or something like that.
