  • Hahahahaha Epic Fail!

  • the lord jehovah has given onto you these 15... (smash) Oy.

  • I like this movie. A lot.

    End of story.

  • Haha, I want to meet whoever made this.

  • LOL I watched this in class and my teacher is like : ok.. Not the video I looking for"........... And my friend was all like what are the other five?

  • @TrixieKitty227 Same here. I laughed my head off in class when my Early Western Civ teacher played this before we started talking about the Hebrews.

  • @Kaiheart Lol

  • LOL: He DROPS one of the flat stones. XD

  • Talk to God not about God!

  • A Jewish guy mocking his own heritage... how sadly pathetic

  • @Eye2EyeIIIV How is it pathetic? What's pathetic is the people nowadays who take personal offence if you suggest that these are anything but ironclad stories of truth. What Mel Brooks exhibits is modesty and a sense of humor that exemplifies that there is room to breathe in all story telling.

  • 80 non mi piace?!?! È bellissimo :) geniale. Tanto da essere proverbiale! :)

  • I'm a stone slab and i'm offend by this

  • If we believe in God, we should acknowledge that we are not capable of understanding everything that God does. It is narcissistic to think that we can apply our own system of rational thought to God. God would inherently transcend such man-made systems of reasoning. Of course, if you don't believe in God, then this is all moot.

  • Those who think the Bible is just a book of fairy tales, I hope one day you will reconsider what you've said. The oldest religion, the only religion where God himself died for you and doesn't make you pay, the religion in which many people have died for because they knew what they were believing in, and guess what, history, archaeology, and science backs us up. This isn't a religion, it's a life style and relationship. What's the point of life without God? Please list me a couple of reasons.

  • One day every being Earth will look back at Religion and realize how silly the whole thing really was. Thank you for this classic moment Mel!

  • that was hilarious

  • I give you the 15....

    *drops stone*

    .... 10!! 10 commandments!!!!

  • Oh my goodness.

Since it is almost close to christmas. I thought it was santa at first lol when I saw moses lol jk jk

  • The last five commandments talked about this video.

    11. Thou shalt see this film later on

    12. Thou shalt not take it seriously

    13. Thou shalt not badger other that already have a god, those are my brother's and sister's people

    14. Thou shalt remember my two sons well, Jesus and Jeffrey 'The Dude' Lebowski

    15. Thou shalt laugh well for it will make you healthier.

  • @NewPhoenixFilms ok, only one.

  • 15. I'm just kidding.

  • If you are trying to be stupid then mission accomplished. If not then what a loser you are

  • Hahaha classic!

  • thank moses he droped one 15 commandments thats alot

  • Love this movie sooo much!!!

  • you know the disturbing thing about moses and the burning bush isnt the fact that he was talking to a burning bush, it was the fact that IT WAS FUCKING TALKING BACK TO HIM that makes me think ha had a very large portion of magic musrooms that very morning

  • @MrSy82 it's was not burning bush, it's was burning weed bush ;)

  • 16. Thou shalt not see this video again! Remember to make YouTube holy.

  • think about it creationist, you never know for sure ;)

  • 1:03 LMAO!!!

  • This would actually explain a lot.

  • I love it :) Hahahaahahahaah!

  • Mozes was a big prophet. Maybe one of the most important because he led God's people out of Egypt. Imagine if he didn't and they were killed?!?!?! No Jews today. Thank God for Moses!

  • @royalsteven Did you read where "God" wanted to wipe them all out and start over with Moses?

So much for them being "God's people".

  • The Israëlites are God's people indeed. Why did you think He saved them, and protected them for thousands of years and gave them their own land?

  • @royalsteven ...and later on got totally fed up with their chronic disobedience, removing his protection from the nation, letting foreign armies invade, conquer, and take most of them captive, to the point where they disappeared from the world scene.

Like I said, so much for being "God's people". He allowed the whole nation to be wiped out.

  • Why do you have to highlight the negative aspects only?!?! The human evil?!?! It is not of God but of the devil. God is good and protects His children. Why else would the Jews, after all they been through, still have so much faith and comfort in their God if He didn't help them and wasn't there?!?! You have open yourself to Him and put faith in Him or else it isn't much use to believing in someone or something?!?!?!

  • @royalsteven Your knowledge of the bible is quite limited obviously. "God" made very clear to the Israelites his "love" wasn't free, it was contingent on their obedience. That theme was stated all thru the OT, beginning in the Garden of Eden where "God" drove Adam & Eve out because they disobeyed. You "christians" are going to discover the hard way that "God" hasn't changed. Most of you are lost, if not all of you.

  • How can you say I have no understanding of the bible? I just have another view/opinion of it. You don't have to read the bible with man's knowledge only but with God's understanding. With the Holy Spirit. Because God gave us some rules doesn't mean He doesn't love us unconditionally. Giving rules to live better lives is having love for your children. If you're going to break the law you will be punished. How else would man know difference between wrong and right if there were no rules to

  • @royalsteven "Like I said, blame the devil and man's abuse of free will for all the evil and misery on this planet. Not God."

Who said anything about blaming God? Not me.

"If you love me, keep my commandments."

There. That's Christ's definition of love. From his own mouth.

And yes, Christ is the one who gave the 10 commandments to Moses. John clearly tells us Christ was the "God" of the OT.

Nonetheless I love the humor in this clip. Mel at his best.

  • We can keep on disagreeing but we just think different about this. I also like humor, as long as it's not blasemphous.

  • seperate them? A prent gives their children rules and rewards their children for doing well and devloping in the right direction. You learn from making mistakes, from falling and getting up again, from having rules. I have nothing to discover. God has given us His Son's message of the New Testament for a new time to follow. And His Son tells us that God is love. Like I said, blame the devil and man's abuse of free will for all the evil and misery on this planet. Not God.

  • @gpk9 What led you to believe that to see God in that way? You know what the great thing about God is? He is never changing. He will NEVER stop loving us, He will NEVER give up on us, and He will NEVER force us to choose him. The theme in the OT is how we are hopeless without Him, God constantly took care of the Israelites. And you know what? He didn't choose them because they were better than anyone else, He chose them because He had compassion....

  • @gpk9 God told Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit because it would bring sin and darkness into the world. Yet when they did, He didn't kill them. He clothed them, but that didn't mean they didn't have any consequences. God told them if they did there would be consequences, and they did so. He keeps His word. You're right God's love isn't free. He sent His own son to die for us so we could have the choice to be adopted into his family even after we botched it in Eden. What greater love than that?

  • @lalalalalalalala6065 (All the following is according to the NIV Bible): God is all powerful, knows the future, and loves his creation. Therefore, why does God create people who he knows will not become Christians, and hence will go to hell? Doesn't seem very loving to me....

  • @Mag0Lag Would He be loving if He didn't give us a choice? If He had us automatically be Christians then we would be puppets and He the controller. He loves us by giving us a choice whether or not we want Him or not.He creates people who He knows won't become Christians but does it anyway because He's made it clear to us we have a choice. So we have to do our own part too. Even I sometimes wonder why, but we just have to trust that He knows better. Because we only see a little bit of the big pic

  • @lalalalalalalala6065 Your argument contradicts itself. If God creates people who won't become Christians, then he would have created the mentality in them, plus placed them in an environment (e.g. strong Islamic), so that they would make a choice of rejecting the teachings of fundamentalist Christians.

On a side note, please tell me that you don't take the biblical creation literally.

  • @Mag0Lag Not sure if you saw the other half of my argument, sent it to myself by accident, but it's around there somewhere. Look, God can't have anything to do with evil because he is only good. If he created us with the mentality, and environment, and everything else, it'd still be robotic. Yeah, he knows some people won't choose him, and you're right the environment would make a difference. These different people may seem good to us and fit to go to heaven in our view, but that's our view, it'

  • @Mag0Lag 's a worldy view corrupted by sin. We don't know exactly why or how God chooses some people and not others, but since we only see little of the picture, we have to trust that God is making the right decision. God is love. So we can trust him. God is love, but he's also the judge. God is timeless, so he would know if the person really would want him or be a real Christian or not. He let's us choose, but he chooses us at the same time. It's hard and maybe impossible to understand because

  • @Mag0Lag it's worldy and corrupted by sin. God is love, but he also is the judge. He knows best because he created it all, he knows what he's doing. Even we don't understand why others don't get chosen or don't choose God. We have the choice of choosing God, but at the same time, God chooses us. It's very confusing, and would take forever to explain. If you don't like it, or don't believe it, it's your choice. God commands us to share his love and the good news to others. When you choose God you

  • @Mag0Lag are taking a risk. A risk that the world will hate you, you won't live the most comfortable life, and that you will go in to danger in order to share God's love. As christians, we aren't supposed to sit back and do nothing, we need to go out into the world dangerous or not. If that means dying while giving others a chance at eternal life, it's fine by me.

I don't get you question, what do you mean by literally, like the seven days part?

  • @lalalalalalalala6065 Seeing that these replies are getting so long to write, I'll message you my email address, so we can continue this discussion off this page.

  • @luigio94 i have humour you little fuck, instead of calling my God "imaginary" say your god, so as not to be a little intolerant shit.

  • I suggest you to control your religious/non religious side. This is just a sample of the movie "History of the World, Part I" (there's only one part). In that 1981 movie, Mel Brooks makes fun of many historic events: The cavemen, the Old Testament, the Roman Empire, The Spanish Inquisition and the French Revolution.

  • @MikiaseKebede This is satire and no disrespect is intended. God is well aware that Mel Brooks is a comedian and isn't trying to insult Him so judge righteously without worrying about the letter of the law.

  • @MikiaseKebede then shall we respect Caesar since he disrespect him too?

  • "The law was our guardian until Christ came; it protected us until we could be made right with God through faith" (Gal 3:24). The good news is that Christ has come. Christians are not under law but under grace (Gal 6:14) For either Christ must remain, and the Law perish, or the Law must remain, and Christ perish; for Christ and the Law can by no means agree and reign together in the conscience." Luther Commentary on Galatians.

  • Maybe this is why God did not allow Moses to enter the promised land? He lost 5 of the holy commandments. lol

  • Anybody trying to have a SERIOUS discussion should just kill themselves

  • So that why we (human species) are screwed.

  • The 11th commandment though shalt not dislike this video.

  • "A deaf man could hear you!"

  • @atomicinjun WHAT DID YOU SAY!!

  • Best ever!

  • lol fail! hahaha

  • obviously you have alot of questions.....my opinion is that the bible is everyones own interpretation...use it for good or evil....you will know the difference

  • Fifth law. Honor of your parent so you will live longer? I don't fully understand "day will be long". But I think the land God giveth you is Earth?

Could be...I guess you appreciate "time" itself when you are respect of your parent.

Then the rest are no killing, adultery, stealing, false witnesses/lying, lust/desire of another belongings. I am confuse on the neighbor part. So it is okay to lie and lust of one whose lived far away?

  • Fourth law. It is an odd law but I think it's a test. For you will work for six days, and rest on the Seventh day. On this Seventh day, you must keep it sacred, to discipline yourself so everyday can be like the Seventh day, no? So work is equivalent to study and practice, and exam or review is "remember". Remember the codes on the Seventh day, and do no work!

I may be wrong. It could be a labor code. So there are no services on Sabbath day? Everybody stay home and lock their doors?

  • Third Law, there are no forgiveness if you impersonate God, for "wrongful" use. So that's it, "game over", you just drop dead. I am still skeptical of "wrongful" is the same as violation of these codes. It's a loop everyone.

Note that the second law allow "later" religion to exist, i.e. the Muslims. Because the prophet talked to Him and he change the laws.

  • First law, fidelity of faith or instruction. But leave open the action of convince the "heathen". Therefore, an action of sharing God's instruction. Sharing!

Second law, you can't be God in any physical or meta/pseydo physical forms and have followers. Only He can be God. But does believing in the Icon mean just following His words? or just believe of His existent and communicate to Him?

  • So are the main thesis of the Bible are these laws and why we should believe?

I still do not know quite understand the Bible. I am trying to study them. But I would like to know the result if we human follow/practice it as told. Then what?

We would have less conflicts? The struggle for one code of behavior or conduct are the main theme of the clashes of religions?

Because, when most violate these laws, they just ask for forgiveness. Therefore proving the existence of punishment.

  • LOL.. I came here after someone sent me a Raptor Jesus and Allah saurus jpgs. What is wrong with these people. LMAO.

  • even a deaf man can hear you...

I didn't know we are that close...

  • XD jajajajajja

  • 11 - thou shall not rape children.

12 - thou shall not bomb abortion clinics.

13 - thou shall not rip people off with phony faith healing scams.

  • @atchisrj1 But of course athiests don't have to follow 11,14, or 15 do they!

  • @Jc40k1 Hellooooo Atheists don't have to follow any of them. Atheists don't need "commandments" to have a sense of morality. They have it by common sense.

  • @iadoregon Common sense varies person to person.

  • @iadoregon What I mean is, Being an athiest or a christian niether makes you a better or worse person. Also, If you don't keep your beliefs to yourself why should I? You'd probably say the same thing.

  • classic!!!

  • "Oy"...that was the best part.

  • One of in 10 commandmets is Thou shall not kill. Can any christian claim that He/She never killed any.

  • 11. Thou shalt burn thy Twighlight novels.

    12. Thou shalt support Trumph in presidental race.

    13. Thou shalt not let Snooki make meh a poof.

    14. Thou shalt not let Red Bull give u wings.

    15. Thou shalt let the bird be the word.

  • @greendayfan4620 Some of those are very well phrased especially 11 and 15 but on 12 to 14 here's what it should say. *clears throat*

12: Thou shalt make great cartoons like Ed, Edd, n Eddy.

13: There shall be two rulers of music and they shall be called Daft Punk.

14: Thou shalt not watch lame reality TV shows.

  • @OutlawRebel117 your full of it.

    12. thou shall make great cartoons like foghorn leghorn or the road runner.

    13. Thou shall be ONE ruler of music and they shall be called PINK FLOYD.

    14. Thou shall not watch stupid sitcoms such as Senfield, Everybody loves Raymound, and Friends.

  • @thor47odin You're mad. Except on the last one there, those sitcoms really do suck.

Daft Punk is the greatest music artist of the century. Pink Floyd can't even hold a candle to them.

And while I agree that the Road Runner and Foghorn are hilarious they do not rank #1 at best they're #4 on the scale. #1 belongs to Bugs and Daffy. Also I said Ed, Edd n' Eddy because they are the Three Stooges of this generation.

  • @OutlawRebel117 What generation? and who the @#$%! is Daft Punk? and you maybe right about Bugs and Daffy but I think It's just a matter of opinion. And Pink Floyd is the greatist band of all time, for me, but once again everybody has diffferent opinions, depending on when they grew up.

  • @thor47odin The generation that grew up watching them. And as for Daft Punk if you were a lot younger I'd call you uncultured. But as you're not I'll make it easy on you. Look for the following songs.

Aerodynamic, Robot Rock, (Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger...one title) Digital Love, Something About Us, One More Time.

Or just look up the TRON Legacy soundtrack and listen to that. Then you'll know.

  • The 11th comandment... Thou shall do the Dance!

  • Fuck religion,I don't belive in these shits!

  • @baguvixoradea What are you taking about? This is a joke. You know that, don't you?

  • Who knew Moses was Yiddish?

  • @tgrunau Oy, vey ist mir! You want I should look it up?

  • 0:21 :P:P

  • that motherf@#$er doesnt look $h!t like moses...hollywood are sum lyin sons of whores

  • @koolkidJavon Because we accurately know how Moses looked like, right?

  • This clip shows my theory on 21 DEC 2012. Same thing happened to the Mayan calendar maker.
