  • I was a test subject on the 767 certification. In answer to some of the ? people have posted. They pack in the max seats the plane will be certified to carry. In our case the flight attendants were from one of the launch customers. It goes completely dark and you only have the planes emergency lighting. People were injured, some seriously (broken leg and broken neck). Not all the exit doors work and people didn't know that before. Some luggage on floor and some people given dolls. Wild!

  • @ArtStudio101 this one is a max capacity 777. notice the 3-4-3 seating

  • @joga12341 And, there will be luggage, pillows and blankets randomly strewn throughout the cabin, as to simulate the overhead bins coming down (even though it's not likely to happen).

  • @ 0:23...Man # 674 is like ass-raping the flight attendant while the door opens!

  • that crew manage to open his door 11seconds after the command of evacuation + 5sec for slide to inflate total of 16sec wasted. that guy could've been pushed out while waiting slide fully inflate.he didnt guard his door well while slide still inflating, pax could had jump off with slide not fully inflate. omg he made so many tolerances that will delayed the evacuation

  • #674 REALLY wants to get off that airplane.

  • The cabin crew did not seem to keep himself within the dedicated assist space and hence prevented the full utilization of slide's dual lanes.

  • Where did boeing get the Flight Attendants ?? Did they train there own or hire them from 1 of the airlines that had a order for the 777 ??

  • this is who they should do deplaning at the airport ha

  • that guy is saying move like on the titanic

  • 158 seconds

  • Great video, you should use the pink floyd's song "run" in background :p

  • Ugh they know that two ppl can go down a slide at the same time right?

  • Cooleo!

  • 52 seconds! nice!

  • OMG Lol yeah, they should've made this like a REAL flight lol then that would be like totalll real. Lol at the people who are like going onto the slide but like tripping over them selves then not going on the slide properly XD

  • Great evacuation guys...90 seconds and you saved everyone on board. I've seen other videos and they are just lackadaisically going down the slide and waiting until its cleared until others slide down probably killing 60% of the people behind them (if that were a real emergency). I hope to never have to use their flights.

  • 0:40, seems like one guy goes face

  • in reality people will be falling on their feet, stumble push each other stuff like that.. so really you can never be ready unless each one of the passengers are willing to help each other... how about the infant, the children the disabled ones, heavy ones?

  • FUCK EM! they will fuel the fire!

  • british evacuation tests are done politely

  • would you rather blow up in the plane being treated politely or be saved treated like shit? hmmm tough one

  • lol try been on the IB on BA from the far east lol I needed help o open the door R2

  • wish you could get off a plane that quick every day! lol..

  • @deliwasista Without luggage in the cabin it would be a whole lot quicker than it is today. Airlines have lost time in turning planes in exchange for people trying to bring a larger amount of luggage in the cabin.

  • How long did it take?

  • FA's do such a great job

  • how many people??

  • about 300+ i think. they test the maximum number of passengers that the aircraft can carry.

  • kk:P

  • The B773 can take up to 550 pax ^^

  • i meant the -200 can carry a maximum of 300+ people, in a 9-abreast seating that is i don't know about 10-abreast.

  • More than 573 @ 0:47 you could see the guy with that number!

  • u can also see 674 on the guy who helps push open the door at the start 0:23

  • cuz he wants out first

  • haha he pushed that old lady out of the way!!um... MOVE PLZ!!!!

  • I couldn't imagine having this style evacuation on a CRJ or CRJ-700, especially with 1 or 2 flight attendants.

  • Hm... I think each attendant is supposed to care for about 50 passengers which is a bit of stress...

  • lol:) just a bit

  • Yeah especially since on the CRJ-700 the 2nd flight attendant is seated way at the back in front of the lavatory which is farther than any passenger seat from an emergency exit. They're basically useless in an evacuation since there to far from any exit to open it.

  • At least the CRJ's dont have escape slides.

  • They should have some passengers acting as they were trying to get their over-head luggage. After all, people do do that sometimes, correct?

  • yes;) some ppl are stupid enough to do that... their life is at risk but they need their laptop to survive:) thats a really good point to bring up:)!!!!

  • They should have invited the passengers on a free flight and paid and insured them, checked them in with their luggage and then performed the test....

  • haha that would be a good test!

  • How many seconds? How many passengers? How many were injured?

  • I think it might be 90 seconds. I know it must be a full plane, and i don't know how many were injured. It a test anyways.

  • Uhm..someone is definitely injured, like getting bumps on the seats, a passenger got stumped during their slide, and so on...thanks for the info by the ways^_^

  • You should clear the plane in 90 seconds.

  • @jewelshare only one was injured and the plane was having the full seatting arrangement in jus 90 seconds

  • Is that by any chance the PBS (?) documentary titled "21st century jet"?

  • Not sure. I was very young when this was shown on PBS.

  • @airodyssey It is called 21 Century Jet. I own the VCR.

  • @airodyssey It is

  • I'd like to see that documentary...

  • Why?

  • ye that wud b fun to do

  • this is how they should deplane every flight, i hate waiting on the tarmac forever!

  • Lol, that would be fun too!

  • That would be too funny..lol..and ridiculous to watch people deplane like this all the time. I would like it too but too funny..can you imagine the old people?

  • @paultreny On my airline they did that to celebrate their rolling stock of the 787 :D
