Beyonce can carry a note. R. Ferrell's voice is an instrument. I don't even feel comfortable speaking about Beyonce while R.F. is doing her thing. I saw her perform at the Blue Note in NYC last week. I have been waiting years to see her. She did not disappoint at all. Can't wait to attend another performance of hers. She makes the audience feel as part of what she is doing. Fun show. Her voice has healing powers.

I was just having a similar convo on another thread. I think that there are a few that can sing, for example Beyonce can sing but the style and persona is WRONG. She needs to surround herself with different people..ex. George Duke, Phil Perry, take singing lessons from Rachelle or Dianne Reeves. Her whole persona would change.
