Just to be clear, this "Kodacolor" has no relation to the use of that name for consumer color negative films that came out 50 or so years later. This is actually B&W film embossed in a special way for use with a special filter that goes over the camera and later on, the projector lens. Wikipedia explains it better than I can.

The inventor of film, no, the developer of celluloid film, and the pioneer of moving pictures, not the inventor, neither man was as credited, nor gave credit to the many others working in the same field, or who came first.
Edison did not invent the light bulb, records, or film, he developed earlier ideas, making them commercial enough for sale. George Eastman, popularised home photography for the masses, he "invented" nothing, just combined existing products to get a working cheap camera.
@swallin19: George Eastman did indeed invent film or at least the first practical version. Before that most photography was done on glass plates. Eastman put the emulsion on a flexible base.
Aucune insulte à France' ; la contribution de s à l'invention des films cinématographiques a été destinée. La réclamation d'Eastman et d'Edison était dans l'esprit pour le technique, plutôt que l'avancement d'artisitc de l'industrie.
