Absolutely lovely performance. Those chords look so easy and I'm trying to copy what I see (and hear) and just can't. Looks like some kind of G, then? then Am C G -- would you mind helping out a sort of beginner - it looks easier than it is and its one of those songs I've tried on & off to figure out for a year! Can you help me somehow. I hope so! Beautiful job, anyway.

The mystery chord I think your after is the the one I play up on the fifth fret....I forget it's name...so I'll just type it out - 000560 then it's a G.....then the other chords are Am C, G. For the bridge part I do an F, Dm, G. Remember when your playing the bit with the Am, C and G then back to C pull off on the B string. You'll hear it and get what I mean. If you ned any more help just let me know. :-)

Louise, I had never heard this song before, but it has the substance of a song that you would sing, and that Jewel would write/perform also.

Your interpretation is so "effective" (not a strong enough word)... especially where you're half-singing and half-talking the words.

You're guitar playing is so precise that it matches the repetitive structure of the lyrics. Makes the performance really hold together.
