MegaTraveller 2: Quest for the Ancients (Demo)

Does anyone have the ending uploaded somewhere? I played through this thing, only to discover that I couldn't get into the Ancient site. I gave up at that point after many weeks of play.

I spent a few years on the Zhodani Conspiracy but never could get into the second one. Compare with the first I found Quest for the Ancients unplayable.

The music reminds me of the Mike Singleton (Lords of Midnight) game called Midwinter! :)

I remember these games, I know they were made long before it but in some respects they are a lot like the current Mass Effect games just more primitive and complicated in certain parts.

yeah i remember they did away with the internal ship views... I hated that! They went for a single screen that you'd just click on text links, instead of being able to walk your ship like in Mega Traveller 1...

I think that was the biggest dissapointment that started happening in game design...

This looks great.. this demo is talking about features I never got to play with in the original game though. Is this from an updated version of MegaTraveller 2? I'm really confused and curious.
