A vote is a vote is a vote period, weather its for Ron Paul or Santa Claus and it should be counted, period. the only way i can see to end voter fraud is to make the records public but have each persons privacy be protected with a password

this way after you have voted you could go to a website and confirm your vote has been counted. no fraud possible every vote recorded and tracked like a ups package :)

it is easy to create a system that will confirm you voted but not actually add your vote to the total. The only way is to be able to see every one else's vote and your own so every one can verify the vote count manually.

it is essential that we have our votes remain secret. dont want bosses bullying their employees to vote a certain way or any other abuses you could imagine with them not being secret.idealy the system would be transparent and unmanipulatable a software analysis of the program after the election could confirm no tampering. we could make all votes in system only a code number and assighn each person a codeto accesess the votes in the system .but i see problems of ballot stuffing like that

I agree with your concerns about the voting problems here in the U.S.  However, having made up your minds in the U.K. to continually vote for socialist politicians and policies that strip away your freedoms and increase the power of your government -- I wouldn't be shouting that from the rooftops if I were you. In California me and my neighbor voted close to noon and received voter receipt number 00001 and 00002. Not even one McCain sign seen anywhere ever. Only republicans to were seen out voting were Ron Paul ones who were proud to let everyone they had voted Ron Paul. We went early to the polls and RP votes were still pouring. Ron Paul has just won the second consecutive CPAC straw poll by a large margin. It may have been too little too late last time, but he's really making a splash and people are waking up. I hope he runs again now that the message is out there!!

Unfortunately, the mainstream media is still doing everything they can to dismiss him as "unelectable" or just not give him any airtime at all. Some republicans want to exclude him from the next debate, just ridiculous. We shall see :)

well i am not going to be right, but because there was so many central machines, once i print out the totals for the counties we will see how it compares. Total voters to votes. No wonder they get away with it in florida, you would have to have someone calculating every machine to catch the fraud, and there is no way they will let that happen

If there was no fraud i would have not been able predict that ron paul would get 5.3% of the actual vote per state + or - vairable of votes per station, which at this time stands at 3/4 of a % of the vote , regardless of how many voters.

your ? about throwing off the votes might actualy be right, but, based on the number of people voting, the % of 5.3 will still be the same regaurdless of how many people vote because the votes all get counted at a central machine which would ensure the 5.3 percent regardless of the number of votes

So they are using paper ballots over there and central tabulation machines? But is there 1 tabulation machine for the state, a room of tabulation machineS, or 1 for every county? The ratios can still be different in each machine but I see what your saying also.

It was my understanding that "Central" Machines counted Paper ballots in private. Are you talking about the regular voting machines? Right as I am typing I just remembered that I did see a video about SC's voting machines. They said they have all machines with no Paper trail at all. And SC's was prohibit Votes to be counted in private. It was proven that since you can not SEE the votes being counted in the machine that it is Illegal. The video is on youtube somewhere.

As I am watching the SC poll results it may appear that these are rigged. If my calculations are correct and they are rigged ron paul will get just under 12,000 vote, and average 5.3% cross your fingers

Ok new calculation, The avaerage is 6.5 people per polling station which will raise the caclulation to roughly 14,7000 votes total

very good idea! I was thinking about this i think while watch the NH primary CNN ticker result as the night went on. But here is one thing, if they have put even 2 or 3 different versions of the gaffe(virus) that have different ratios for flipping the votes, wouldnt that throw your calculations off? Hopefully there were dumb enough to put the same version of the virus in every machine.

what I find extremely suspicious is no matter how many polling stations report, the average never changes more than 3/4 of a percent. this is completely unrealistic, because some stations cannot report the same, this is immpossible!!!!!!!

This is a step in the right direction, but a fraudster could still rig the election and not touch Ron Paul's vote totals. Just take some votes from a candidate who tallied much lower (or much higher) than Ron Paul and give those votes to another candidate who is neck and neck with Ron Paul. This way a fraudster could easily knock Dr. Paul a few places back without touching his totals.

I'm a California lawyer. We don't think we need notarized affidavits in this state. Maybe the election code requires it, but normally a declaration signed under penalty of perjury has the same effect.
