  • Delta Boy I hail Oohhh, on behalf of all Delta Boy,s our time has come, Asawana!!!!! whether by ballot or bullet, the indomitable spirit of the Niger Deltan cannot be stopped.

  • why are they holding guns?? sorry, i dont know anything about their situation. can someone please educate me.. is it that they are trying to defend their land again the oil workers? or is it gang/tribe related?

  • so sad they have a fail government that would allow for this to go on or to participate in it.

  • AS far as the land was that of the igbo b4 you betrayed us, they will only smell shit not food. God will not allow anything to grow here after they have drilled the whole oil and you will suffer hunger because of your stupity. You hate the igbo just because of the petrol which my father died while they fought to safegurde you said no and you think you can own it alone? Any sides that think of the oil better 4 him alone, will die for it.

  • Thank you, wonderful information.

Les Igbos sont neutres, c'est vraiment.

  • THAY ALSO CARRY CHINESE WEAPONS as per your comments on MEND

  • i am so sorry...

  • This is very well made. Thank you for sharing this. How do you attach the song to iTunes?

  • terrible

  • Oh my..this is horrible....i live in the Delta region of US.. very dry here.....

  • @Machelle3200 My goodness..the people responsible for this should burn in hell!!!

  • Cry Tuff

  • Plz I need the name of the music that was playing at the background of the video. Who sang it and what is the title please???

  • i am from the northern part of nigeria but i really feel for the niger delta people because the deserve better life. to that they should have their freedom as a nation i dont think is a good idea. our country is one of the best in terms of resources yet we have a sefish gov....i hope one day we will have a better leader and take us to where we deserve to be ameen

  • this makes me, to wish another country's government would take over and get a little of more control of the oil business. The reason to be is because we all have family in delta, it may not be the bad parts, but it still affects there way of living.

  • biafra is not good for us, first and most importantly we are all africans. divided we fall, united we stand. peace my brothers

  • one day biafran will be an independent country and control there resouce . to be honest with you i feel for poor people in nigeria because they are hotting .and am looking foward to see if our new president will put smiles on people face .

  • Nigerai's National Television Authority NEVER shows such scenes as these in their reports because NTA is afraid of the government. Telling the truth would embarrass the government. But NTA is supposed to be on the side of the people, not the government. NTA and the Nigerian government are partners in corruption.

  • No country can afford to have its media have an independent voice from its government. This is true of America, Russia, China, Puny Brittain, Niegeria & every other country. Medias are representative of the powers of their respective countries; as such, they'er no more than propaganda tools. As bad as that of Nigeria may seem, it pales in comparison to those of the so called "FREE" world such as the US & Brittain. The media in America is a JOKE!

  • yah fauxnews

  • we will fight to the end but while we struggle for resource control, i will sound a serious warning to Russians oil bunkers that next time they might not be lucky..

  • Confirming what the people of Biafra could easily predict, the so-called "leaders" foisted over Biafrans have remained either silent in the face of it, or are in support of the systematic undermining of the human and civil rights of Biafrans, even right within Biafran territory, of which there is no better or more deadly example of shirking of responsibilities.

  • WAR FOR FREEDOM ON WAR NO FREEDOM!!!

  • why am I not able to rate? is this censoship or what? This needs to be made known. This needs to be proclaimed from the rooftops!I will not be quiet I razz my relitives for being complacent I shock my grandson and encourage him to speak out.I tell my mother ur retired speak out!People of the earth stand up stop this destruction!

  • Sorry, ratings are disabled because i didnt create it for that purpose. I know how you feel as I felt exactly the same way when i created it and "The Countdown" especially. MEND are showing admirable strength and organization. A force that commands pride in stark contrast to the Nigerian military. What almost drives me to tears (with pride) is that they are fighting for Mother Nature also. Wherever they shut down oil exploitation, the natural habitat recovers. It is a documented fact.

  • That's not what i got to hear or witness when i was back home in PH last year, after MEND and other splinter groups terrorised, robbed and murdered innocent people for months before the military's JTF kicked them out of the city.Everyone celebrated the intervention of the military.

  • Hey,

did somebody hear something about money given by Chinese to Mend???

  • I have done some minor research on that but no luck, though I would not be surprised if they are supplying MEND.

With the energy competition between the West and the Communist giants (China & Russia), it would be a very logical strategy to tip the scales in one of the most petroleum rich regions in Africa.

  • ... and then you scream about the mass exodus of Africans and into Europe/American? Your capitalistic policies are killing us! It's one world, remember that!! DO SOMETHING!

  • They're doing something now for sure. Amid recent attacks by MEND (24/04/08)the U.S has the green light by the Nigerian gov to start "helping" to "secure" the oil region with its military. MEND have promised to cause more casualties to the US than Iraq.

These are very unpredictable times now, so let's see. Remember, irrespective of how we feel, Nigeria must be given a chance, it is such a young country with almost unlimited potential for greatness. (I say this as a Deltan)

  • As a Deltan too, I say we need no outside help. we have all we need and will ever need to help ourselves. they will secure the niger delta, keep us out of our land desicrate it and rape it till it ecomes fallow land and then leave it for our future genrations to suffer the effects of the polution. It is high time we help ouselves and remember home is home sweet home. God Bless.

  • Think about it like this, nothing for nothing, when people help you(and it is obvious that the foreigners help does us more harm than good, look at our history) they always have an agenda and you will be informed on a need to know basis. how manytimes do you see foreigners securing anything in yankee or jandon.

  • I'm on the same page. The problem can and i think should be taken care of internally WITHOUT foreign troops if not the situation could lead to an unprecedented number of unnecessary deaths. The only foreign help i will condone is through peace talks.

  • esto es lo que hacen las petroleras en Nigeria y en otras partes del mundo. Usemos menos el coche y los vuelos aereos
