This review format only really tends to be a good gauge of a film when it's something new, like Skyline, where everyone goes in not knowing what to expect. It's with franchise films, when its really only ever going to be a select group of fans that go see it, where the format becomes much more limiting as to who can benefit from it. I've never seen any of the previous films, and thus I have absolutely no idea whether I'd like this movie or not.
BTT rating may not be perfect but the same goes for reviewers. A lot of reviewers are often one sided and a lot of movies they rate as bad are actually good. They always shun off CGI movies, claiming that computer graphic spoils the movie.
Seriously, what is up with people giving scores? 10 should be "Favorite movie of all time" not "It was funny" - 6 and 7 can also be very good movies. No wonder the IMDb scores are so scewed

i don't think it was a big failure. It sounds good. And the rest of the movies don't include these ideas. i think this she be the last movie because then it's gonna get really annoying.

I wouldn't go see this movie even if someone payed me to go. There are more laughs in No Country For Old Men than the last two Big Momma movies combined. Judging by the trailer, I'm going to skip this one.

Come on. 10 out of 10 is perfect! This rating system makes no sense, when everybody is giving the movies a 10 or a 1.
Life's not always black and white, in fact, it is rarely.
I understand the facts, that the audience know what they will get, but still. Seriously? 10?!
This was THE perfect movie?
Maybe it would work with a Like/Dislike system and in the end, Grace would say "5 out of 6 people liked this movie". I would be fine with that. Just food for thought.

@DAmicoJohnny Remember that perspective is a big part of this show. With a 9.5, that shows Big Mommas 3 is appealing to its target audience. Therefore if you like the Big Mommas movies, you'll really like this one too.
