  • Thanks for the answer,

Getting a jvc 845 soon to test perhaps I keep it,

have seen some timelapses on it looks pretty good.

Eventho its from the videmode , offcourse no low shutter shots,

no "flashy" car lights etc , great for timelapse seen the examples.

It has a 1.2 lens wich is pretty good;)

Will send you a mail once received.

    Take care

  • you should try quicktime pro for making the timelapse.

when importing the pics set it to 24 frames.

when exporting set to 24 frames and set 1920x1080 , cut bottom and top

you need a lot of pics (3000) tho for this to get a decent lenght timelapse

also you would need at least 3mp shots

some questions since im looking for a cheap cam for timelapse:

Can i power the 620 by ac adapter, can it take 3mp pics , does it take 16 or better 32gb memorycards , how many shots can i take on 1 battery, thanks

  • @mmmichael118 thanks for the tips. Yes it can be powered by AC adaptor, separate purchase, I've seen one on ebay for around £8 in the UK, it does up to 7mp, no it can't handle any bigger than 2 or 4GB I think. There's a way to get some cameras to work with more than that using the CHDK but it doesn't work with my camera, I found out after buying the card. :/ Not sure how many shots you can take on 1 battery as it depends on the battery type and the time between photos.

  • @mmmichael118 I think there's a way to take the display off too when running the timelapse scripts so that should increase the battery time. It's not been a problem for me though.
