I'm very interested to know what this animated short is about. Armenia is so fascinating and I stumbled upon this almost accidentally. Would someone please help me out with the story as I don't understand a word of what is being said. Thanks so much :).

@eydpotter : Of course my friend: It is about a little girl who was reading a story when her grandfather told her it was late and it was time to sleep. He could not sleep because he was an old man and lost his sleep. So when she fell asleep she dreamt of following the butterflies into one of the hung pictures. In it she found a hut where she heard an old man crying. He said that he lived there for a long time and he was sad because the scenery did not change.

@eydpotter Part II: He never slept because it was always daytime. He had never seen a girl before. When she told him how she got there, he asked her to help him to go into a night picture. So together they went in, and as she showed him around and told him about night, he fell sound asleep. She was happy to be able to help him. When she woke up in the morning, she found her sweet grandfather sleeping soundly as well on the chair.

Why armenian cartoons are so depressing? Why we just can't make fun cartoons and not rase a problem in everything we do? Like in this one grandpa can't sleep and a little girl has to solve an issue. OMG . Wil they ever produce something that kids would just be kids and laugh by watching cartoons?

@sirinik2007 It's not that the Armenian cartoons are depressing, it's just that the American cartoons are so dumb and uniformly happy-endish. I prefer my children to watch not-so-happy cartoons (whether those are Armenian, Italian, or French) that make them think, rather than the fluffy crap that Hollywood is churning out every year.
