I might have to find an ebs head. I'm thinking of trying ebs northen light strings. What's the eq on the bass set at, as well as the head? Are the mids pulled way out? I know the bass already has a ton of highs because of the neck. I just can't get the sound I'm looking for. I notice he barley slaps the strings and get a great sound. I have to hit realm hard and there's pretty much no high end for me for some reason. I also have the 3 band agular eq.

The Eq setting is all flat on the amp head, but the comp is quite high about 3:00. On the bass, the pickup has been changed to Delano MM, that's the settings and gears. Try all those things at Guitar Center!!!!!
