  • ah csx2665 thay go nomater whut so ha!

  • @TheMonroefan hahahaha

  • Railroad xing gates malfunction! This means a tornado warning is active currently. lol

  • Thats cool. Great Video. Weird that the crossing did that.

  • The wind was pushing the gates up.

  • Actually, no.

  • 2005 was a horrible year for storms like this one. Dennis, Katrina, Ophelia, Rita, and Wilma are the notable ones.

  • An F40PH is coming. What? Why do you think they play "Rock Me Like A Hurricane"?

  • lol wat would a train b doing in that kind of weather lol

  • i thought railroad crossing are activated by completing a circular current on a segment of tracks. since the train's steel axles are conductors of electricity, the current is completed. the tracks must be flooded or some piece of metal debris is laying across the tracks...Just a thought,

  • That must be a REALLY bad severe storm.

  • i rember when thepower went out for like 2 week!

  • Wouldn't it be weird if a passenger car went flying down the tracks, being propelled by wind? That would be freaky, that's all I'm saying.

  • Must be the 12:15 Inbound that got blown away from Jamaica...

    (I don't know Wilma's path, so I just took a wild guess)

  • NO BELLS

  • That was pretty cool. Thanks for sharing. I'm just curious as to why the gates never came down? Were they going off solely because of wind?

  • My guess would be that wind set off the 'train approaching' sensor, but since no train ever was there to trip the gate dropping sensor/lever. I think anyone thats worked the rails could explain.

  • They didn't come down because of what they did. They had them on for warning. And there is no lever its all electrical current. When a train is coming the rails have a electrical current to the switch and thats what set off the signal. Now the gates never lowered because in the relay box they had it manually running the gates they had the service relay pulled out... In high winds they have a service mechanism. witch turn the service signals on... I know i work for Safetran.

  • @mreil23 . U do? what about Western Cullen Hayes

  • @BRYLON123456789 that too but I'd rather say safetran because personally i like Safetran better

  • @prgreg4090 The flood from the hurricane may have coused the crossing go off and the wind could have disabled the gates or the wind could have blown over the signal cabnet. P.S Is this at a train station or something?
