Aloha my friend , before the ace 250 ,I used a BH 202 and it was great. I hunted dry sand ,and parks as well and found a lot....BH detectors and Garretts are great machines,you just got to practice and learn what the detector is telling you,and in no time you will be finding,a lot of stuff...

Can you show us a picture of your camera setup. I have an Ace 250, I was wondering when you say you have a 8 or a 10 on your meter what do you mean, I don't have my detector in front of me but I didn't think there were numbers on the Ace's meter.

I think he is referring to the 10 cent coin logo on the display. We would probably say a solid dime signal.

some times I would refer a target by saying I got a solid 1,5 ,10 ,25 and at time I would say its about 2 to 4, 6,8 would be the depth..good luck on your hunting...Aloha! PAT
