i like these vids! i always wanted to know the basics. i live in hawaii and the tat shops around here dont exactly welcome apprenticeships...i dont have the money or time to be traveling around to learn from others these techniques. some people need to realize that not everyone can learn to do it the "traditional" way so to speak. and also that a lot of people learn things better by teaching themselves. and @ozzykid17, your right, underground tattoo artist make more money.

NOT everyone who can draw can tattoo, some people do sketch art which is a lot of short lines put together and they could only tattoo like that, you have to also have a very steady hand, and lots of patience. Also, shading a tattoo is nothing like drawing, it's coloring, you don't draw in small circles.

I agree with Raz, if you all think you are better then you should put up your videos on the subject, and I don't think all of you are even really listening to what he is saying and making your own assumptions on things, he worked with Jim Clutch, I have met him myself, he is a great in the biz, and what this person said is if you can draw then you can tattoo, if you really understand what is said is that they are similar and he did mention the diff on skin.
