Thanks ALOT man! My computer becamse corrupt recently so the only way to restore it was to get rid of everything and start over. Having over 5000 songs doesnt help either....

I'm not actually entirely sure, it's happened to me before and I couldn't seem to sort it out. I think if you look at the song in windows explorer you can see the artist at least and then try and figure out what song it is from there, even if it is a hassle. If I figure it out i'll be sure to annotate it somewhere.

great program, installed fine, copied folders as described, imported folders into itunes but the music will not play, any suggestions???

have you tried playing the music directly from the mp3? If that doesn't work then you must have made an error in the folder copying process.

You were RIGHT ON!!! Reinstalled iTunes and followed your instructions and all worked very well. 1,024 songs were restored when I thought all was lost. Thank you so much!

in the video, it is of an non-jailbroken iphone. I annotated the directory for if it is jailbroken. I am 99% sure it is the same directory for iphone and ipod touch.

what are your system specs? Mine are 4GB ram, 2.83 quad @3.0 ghz, ati 4870x2 graphics, on windows 7 ultimate x64. Is yours anything similar? Because mine installed really quickly. It could also be that it is loading, and you are trying to keep clicking, if this is the case, let it load before clicking and there shouldn't be errors.
