Ummm thanks or that. Actually I did look at introducing a partner bird but he is extremely aggressive towards other birds. Having two parrots certainly has pros but also cons as does keeping them individually. I've been keeping parrots for a long time and have also taught husbandry of exotic species in the classroom. So I think I'll just crack on
Great that he's happier now, but he's still lacking a partner!!! I have two blue-heads and they are only happy together, a human being simply can't replace a parrot of the same species
I've had Billy for 3 years now. Great bird, although he hates my wife (unless being rescued after a crash landing). I rescued him from a guy who kept him in a tiny cage with only 1 perch, dirty water, only seeds for food and no toys or other environment enrichment. When I met him he was petrified of his owner and people in general. He is now much happier and even showers with me once a week. Please feel free to post comments : )
