Wow. She is horrible! I love Tara, and I think everybody needs to back the fuck off, she's literally been through hell and back, and I know if I were in her shoes, I would be bitter as fuck! Thank God, they recast though! Rutina is the perfect Tara, every time I look at this chick all I see is Passions.

Brook is either overacting or underacting and doesn't seem to be comfortable with swearing. I'm always surprised by how classy Rutina is. I expect "Oh my God, you motherfucking racists!" to come out of her mouth at every Comic Con. That's how much she owns the role of Tara.

This actress is just not believable as Tara. She looks and sounds like even she can't believe the words coming out of her mouth. There is no anger or pain or emotional insecurity in her performance that we get with Rutina. She's just trying to get the lines out, stumbling, and wothout any comedic timing. She's also very uncomfortable with Sam Trammell--no chemistry, and he's not digging her in the role either.

Why did they fire her? Pilots are always horrible and look like bad acting. They do them on a very limited budget and time. That is why the 2nd episode always looks 100x better. She wasn't that bad, and to tell you the truth I think the new Tara is a little annoying.
