I purchased some of dougs' dvd lessons and have learned so much from him..

Doug is a great teacher ..as great as you can get without him being in the same room..

This was the video that prompted me to check out his website..

He has loads of stuff on rhythm playing as well ..its not all about being fast.....but thats what most beginners seem to want is to play as fast as hell..

who cares what style we play ..We can all learn from other styles of music !

I checked out the website and have no doubt that the lessons will advance your techniques. The real question is how much do you get for your money? The demo on the front page is 3:57 long. 3:10 of that is talking about pretty much nothing, :47 is actual playing. He's a great guitarist and probably a good guy, but if the videos follow the same format, you may be disappointed.
