  • it would really suck if that frog fell on your face while your snoozing

  • its funny how everything seems fine 4 the animal then some dumb thing comes by and just eats it ... hehe funny -_-

  • this makes me thirsy/hungry for juicy fruit

  • I WUNT ONE!!!! NUUUU YOU ANIMAL GET AWAY FROM ET!

  • @inarithefoxlover its the most poisonous animal on the planet. What do u think it tastes like?

  • Not this guy again with his lame jokes...

  • "The Strawberry Poison Dart Frog has to climb this tree" LOL!!!

  • I wish I had an RPG... These frogs deserve to get blown up

  • these creatures are perhaps the beautiful art made by d gods- amazing i loved dis..

I even got some of such stuffs at antiven.in for poison dart frog.. guys check it out..!!

  • its actually not the mother frog that carries the tadpole, its the father. The mother drops off the unfertilized eggs so the tadpole can eat after it's been placed in the water by the father.

  • does it taste like strawberries?

  • 8 people are poisoned by this frog.

  • weird.....i just saw a frog clmbng a tree.... ☻

  • @ThisIsMe1710 Where there is a frog, a frog-killing indigenous psycho cannot be far behind.

  • @etbella3 Why don't you go live out there and show them how it's done, stupid shithead? They're primitive and poor, they make do with what they've got.

Nobody's impressed by your high-school save the whales routine. Also, you're a poor troll. Jeffrey Dahmer ate people because he was extremely mentally ill. People who hate their own species are also mentally ill. You're more like him than like us.

  • dare you to lick its butt

  • frogtest.hit.bg

  • I've heard animals have died just by touching ground a poison dart frog touched. Thats sorta not fair. Something has gotta be able to kill those cute little fuckers! Go Koala-pig!

  • lolololololololololol

  • I wonder if you can make it so they are not poisonous and keep em as pets.

  • @videoman223 you can, there are thousands of people that do it. The way they get their poison is from eating certain ants that get their poison from a plant. So the poison transfers down the line. IF you don't feed them those ants, they aren't poisonous.

  • I love how they chose this announcer to increase the number of unintelligent viewers...SO F*CKING JUVENILE!

At least the video is worth watching on mute.

  • @jgrimmier Yah, it's probably off a show aimed at kids. Chill brother :)

  • @jgrimmier You prefer the typical British Accent on nature shows? After all, Brits are more intelligent than Americans, right? I only trust a British accent when it comes to educational programming and putting me to sleep.

  • my god, the narrator is a dumbass!

  • I was in costa rica a couple weeks ago for spring bread and i probably saw about 10 dart frogs and probably about three of them were like this one!!!! they are pretty cool

  • @jakescant123 hahahahah spring bread

  • this frog confuses me....

    WEIRD frog.

  • WOW HOW ANNOYING IS THIS GUY

  • My frogs don't make that noise when they jump, is there something wrong with them? HAHAHA

  • lol junior!

  • damn it junior

  • the narrator reminds me of my history teacher ._.

  • It's dad, not mom. Stupid National Geographic...

  • Lol. All the mother frog hardwork is all gone.

  • I am sure they are safe to handle if you don't have any cuts on your hands ore rub your eyes after touching it.

  • What an evil Quati.

  • aaw that's so sweet

  • well that was weird

  • I saw a bunch of poison dart frogs in Costa Rica. Our guide picked one up under its belly and held it in the palm of his hand. Apparently, the poison secretes from the back all along the top of the frog and the only body part you can touch it with is your hand. It will only cause that part to go numb. Just don't touch it with anything else. :)

  • Hate to disappoint you but the dart frog secretes poison all over it's body, just many dart frogs don't have a strong enough of a poison to kill a human just by touching it. Maybe by being eaten but more likely you'll get sick by eating a Dendrobate -Don't try to eat one!- If you eat a Phyllobate, your pretty much screwed... even touch some of them for that mater...

  • lol don't argue with this dude, he's sad enough t have dart frog as his username

  • yes true but the dart frogs get there poison from sum insect they eat when there babys thats why poison dart frogs that are kept as pets arnt poisones

  • Not just when they are baby's- if you feed a captive breed poison dart frog you can technically reintroduce the poison in its skin by feeding them ants which have eaten plants with alkaloid toxins.

  • lol they really know how to improvise and use nature as it's source to care for their youngs!

  • uhhh that tadpole dropped off was dead...

  • how nice he swallowed a posion dart tadpole :)

  • they're not poisonous at that time, and poison dart frogs only produce the poison as adults and only with the correct diet. For example poison dart frogs owned by those who have them as pets rarely have a source to get their poison from.

  • yeah but when they produce the poison it can kill like 10 soldiers with 1 drop

  • I can't get over the epic name

  • lol, the narrator's voice is funny :D also thats amazing how a frog so small can remember all the different places so well.

  • @MujakiKid Out of 4.6 billion years, humans get to be on the Planet Earth an itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini 10,000 years. And in that milliblip of time, they have wiped out the majority of animal and plant species. No wonder Jeffrey Dahmer ate people.

  • @etbella3 I lol'd

  • could they get someone who isnt a fucking ass to narrate?

  • What an annoying voice that guy had.

  • They cute, but really poisonous.

    Ouch!

  • they actually aren't poisonous in captivity, i have around 25 poison dart frogs including a breeding pair of these dendrobates pumilio

  • No you don't.

  • yes, i do

  • he probably does, people keep them as pets

  • whats the tree called at 0:33 till 0:37??????

    wanna know it.:)))))

  • It might be type of Aechmea plant. These kinds of plants take on a 'vase' like quality in which the leaves grow up and out from what seems like a single base and it forms a kind of funnel that directs and stores water in it's center. If you're in N.America, you can usually find them at the grocery store or florist around late summer to spring time ^.^

  • bromeliad ur welcome

  • cute frog!!!! well if it wasnt poison! LOL but still so cute... i want 1!

  • cool:)

  • *shakes fist*

  • bastard!

  • thats sucks poor fishy thingy

  • It's a tadpole... not a "poor fishy thingy".

  • You're a tadpole. And a poor fishy thing.

  • lmfao @ that beardog at the end

  • coati

    real bear-dogs are long extinct

  • the only reasons there poisonous is because of the tropical ants they eat, thats why the colored poison dart frogs at sammys pet world arent poisonous, different diet

  • that awson kool

  • the narrator's voice kind of reminds me of the fake biologist or whatever he was that Lemony Snicket dressed up as in A Series of Unfortunate Events.

  • how many time dose that guy say

Strawberry Poison Dart Frog? i know what it is.

  • do you want someone with a boring voice instead?

  • Ben Stein.

  • The previous comment was directed at an earlier comment marked as spam.

    o what do i kno

i havent seen a strawberry in years!

    <3 hit me back

  • That other big animal is awesome.

  • stupid bear/anteater watchamacallit has to go slurppin up the babies. what a jerk.

  • the mom frog launches its babies from its back, hence the name "dart" frog

  • no, it's because native tribes used the poison from the frogs for their weaponry consisting of blow darts, spears, ect.

  • Yup, these tiny frogs are some of the most toxic creatures on earth. Experimental medicines are being developed from their toxins.

  • really? cool!

  • wow..interesting..yeah..i heard they're really that poisonous..

  • wow i hate spammers FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE DO A SMART JOB(or atleast try)iv'e read 8 of them and i am still living arent i?blah this is a nature vid

Besides, why the hell do you post it in this video?

  • Don't worry HeavenlySword3, just say this prayer: "Dear God, please protect me from the bullshit, Thanks, your buddy, heavenlySword3."

  • Yet again

    Great Video

    Crappy Narrator

  • Great video!

  • gotta be one of the coolest looking frogs ive seen. i thought the tadpoke died when she dropped it in haha

  • lol

  • that thing is drinking tadpole's feces too!

  • You're drinking my piss and the piss of other animals and your ancestors as well.

    What of it?

  • how is that?

  • Every drop of water on this planet has been on this planet.

Not one drop has left our heavy atmosphere.

Whether it be filtered or not, we all drank from the supply of water that we had.

Imagine this, a caveman drank some water from a river. He pissed it out. It then gets evaporated (therefore filtered). It forms a cloud, then rains. The atoms that makes that drop of water flows through your tap, and you drink it.

It's like how I'm breathing the air you breathed.

  • I hope you know that you breathe in air and breathe out carbon dioxide lol

  • Stop talking shit. Thousands of gallons of water has left the planet on rockets, satellites, and other space based operations.

  • Why can't people leave him alone... He's fine as is.

  • sweet!

  • Very cool frogs, i think the pattern looks awesome!
