  • I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND your pet peeves with spelling! I can relate to your frustration with all three of them! "Your" and "You're" used incorrectly gets me extremely annoyed!!! LOL :-)

  • @ganrella7908 Yes, it's sooooo irritating!!

  • I also have a thing about words. I can't stand misspelled words. I am always correcting people.

  • Hey I just wanted to say that I love your videos they are amazing!!! You remind me sooo much like my older sister but she is like 5 years older than you. She also laughs a lot just like you. Anyway I wanted to ask if you could show us a tour of your house because I kinda saw Tripp's room and I love it green is my favorite color!!! Oh and how did you come up with the name Tripp or is it popular in texas??? Oh sorry the comment is really long

  • Thank you! I dunno about the house tour lol! But Tripp is a nickname. He's named after his dad and grandpa, so he's the third. We call him Tripp, like triple :o)

  • so is his real name like actually Layton?

  • i know! their are alot of people who do that! its so annoying! lol im just kidding! :P

  • You just made me cringe!! My eye is twitching lol

  • My friends little boy Phoenix is4 months and wears a 12 months.. He is a chunk,Tripp is adorable and good job on your weight loss!!

  • I just got a bigger bath tub they have for babys there isn't a seat its just a bath tub and you can use it till they are 2. My daughter out grew her tub very fast because of her height.

  • For me it wasn't so much about the age with the switching bath thing it was the fact I had to bath my daughter on the floor so it killed my back lol. Then I started bathing her in the laundry sink which is nice and deep and I could stand up. My sister used one of those sitting things for her son and I think you just use them as soon as your baby is able to sit up by themselves which is usually around the 6 month age.

  • OMG! It totally bugs me when people use the wrong spellings too! I just can't believe it... just like you said this is stuff that we learned in the 3rd grade! LOL

  • Haha exactly!

  • I didn't get a bath seat for Gideon. They are pretty dangerous. I heard too many bad things about them. Once he could sit up well, i just sat him in the tub with 2-3 inches of water. (Around 5-6 months.) And get him used to having water in his face early so it wont scare him when it happens. I'd count to 3, then pour water on his head and he'd hold his breath out of natural instinct, then i'd praise him and make a fun game out of it. Oh, and I'll try and watch my grammar in my comments.

  • lol the flowers could have been a nice focal point I suppose?! and ummm, about your little pet peeve, can I please just tease you about "rediculous"? lol though I assume its spelled that way b/c thats how you would say it if something is REALLY REEEEEdiculous! I'm just givin' you a hard time :0) but seriously, you know what BUGS me? My professor who does a power point lecture and consistently uses the word "then" instead of "than". For example

"I'm supposed to be smarter then you but I'm not "

  • UGH!! That's another good one!! And it's SUPER annoying when you see it written somewhere professionally! LIke... REALLY?! Haha!

  • No we definitely don't give him soilds yet! It's too dangerous with all the food allergy possibilities. After his 4.5 month doc apt we will start him on cereal and like apple sauce type things, if doc says its ok!

  • I just love your videos ALOT ALOT ALOT ALOT!!! LMAO!!! Sorry I just had to do that! You are too funny!!

  • I would say you can switch to a bath seat or just let him sit in the tub when he learns to sit up on his own. With my daughter we started at 5 1/2 months

  • The worst one for me is when people confuse the words "seen" and "saw".

    i.e. "I seen you yesterday"

*sigh* some people lol :P Glad to hear I'm not the only crazy one.

  • Ughh that is annoying! I totally agree! Or come and came! "She come over the other day". grrr! It's CAME!

  • Yey u done another vlog.

Looking 4ward to the next1 already.

    Love u and Tripp

  • just curious but does tripp seem interested in food solids yet? or is he still just on milk? my son is 2 and something months and he wants to try abit of evrything. so we give him taste testers on what ever we are eating. when r u hoping to start feedng him. i was just interested thanks :)

  • No, Tripp is still just on milk. We aren't going to give hiim any solids until after his 4 month doc apt. There are too many possible allergies. We will start him off with just rice cereal and ceertain purees.

  • i deff felt the baby come out .. and when they cut me.. AHH it was crazy becuz the epidural wore off on one side i had to get my epridural up'ed like 3 times and it wore offff.. GRR lol but i deff felt the erge to push it was soo intense without the epirdual waring off on one side..

  • I started just letting her sit in a tub with shallow water at around 5-6 months. As soon as she ould sit up by herself. She hated the baby bath once she was 4 months or so.

  • My son starting using the chair thingy in the tub about 5months/6months.

  • Ok kool. That's when I was thinking of using one for Tripp!

  • sorrry that im mostly dumb about the use of there, their and theyre and also your and you're lol. i dont kno. sorrry if i make u cringe. haha. i hav a vid bout things that irriatate me. u should watch sumtime if ud iike =P

does Tripp mean anything. or jus a random name. i have never heard it beofre watching ur vids. so im curious.

  • It's a nick name! He's the third. He's named after his dad and grandpa. BUT, since his grandpa goes by his first name and his dad goes by his middle name, we decided that Tripp would go by Tripp. It's like short for triple since he's the III

  • Amazing update as usual! You thoroughly entertain me!! YOU'RE awesome!

  • Haha thank u! :o)

  • To ans your question i started useing the chair for the tub when my child could sit up on there own real good without falling over.

  • well alot of people don't know how to spell... there just not smart. you should leave them alone. your mean... lol jk... hahaha... i wanted to do it to annoy you... I'm bored... anyways... good update... Have a nice day... and I saw leah.. she is adorable... oh what flower company did you use on line?

  • Girl! You crack my butt up!!! It was good to hear from you!!

  • Haha thank u!! It's always good to hear from you as well :o)!

  • Haha Your so funny about the flowers!

  • haha what about "conradulations" or "tomarrow" hahah those are two of my worst pet peeves when it comes to words lol.

  • OMG totally! People should AT LEAST see that the short version is spelled CONGRATS and not CONGRADS and THAT should give them a hint! And "toMARROW"? Really? Does tomorrow sound like (bone) marrow?!

  • AH! I feel exactly the same about your/their/a lot...thank you! I'm not alone!

  • You are just the cutest darn thing EVER !!!

The flower story rules .. I loved it !!

You just seem like the happiest mommy. You do look amazing. I am so happy to finally see a mommy who isn't stressing about her baby weight. 9lbs is nothing and my god woman you are stunning.

As for the baby bath thing .. Basically switch Tripp when he is able to sit on his own and with what feels right for you. Every baby and mommy and bath time is different. Hugs xoxo

    Danielle

    xoxo

  • Haha you always make me so smiley!! Thank you so much!

Haha yea, that darn flower situation! Worked out well though lol!

I kno the 9lbs will eventually fade, but it will just take some time! Takes 9 months to gain all the weight, so itll take a lil while to lose it!

And thanx for the bath advice :o) You rock!

  • i second that... you look gorgeous!

i have one favor to ask :) if you ever feel inspired, or have the time to make a video on things you couldn't do without as a mom. like a certain type of activity chair, wipe warmer, type of thermometer, things of that nature. as a first time mom, i'm struggling to differentiate between things i must have things that are just a waste of money.

thank you! you are super sweet! and can't wait for your next v-log :)

  • Ha! I love the grammar rant near the end! Everyone calls me crazy and says that I should be an English teacher because that is my biggest pet peeve!!

  • Haha glad I'm not alone! lol

  • you are gorgeous! and i loooovvveee all your Chanel gear hehe! you r stylin mama :)

  • Wow tripps growing so fast! Leah & him make a wonderful couple! Thanks for all info! You look great!

  • I think they will too!! :o) Thank you!

  • I loved you're vlog alot! I'm sure their are others who love it two... (Hee hee! Just joking!) That aside, you look great :) You make pregnancy and delivery look so easy!! I love your vlogs!!

  • HAHA you suck!!! My eye started twitching when I started reading that lol!! And I love that you love my vlogs! Thank u :o)

  • i bath with allison! its wonderful bonding time, skin to skin contact is wonderful for babies! shes so confident in the water, jumping and laying back in it so she can float and relax! yes i hold her when shes doing it! my sister told me to do it she did it and my niece loved it! but the bath seats i bet tripp could go in right now as long as hes holing his head up, it would be good exersize for his tummy! i also tried to go natural but needless to say the epidural was heaven~sent:) later.....:)

  • You are so sweet! Thank you :o)! And you'll do great with losing the weight. We just have to remember that it takes time lol!

  • You are so funny! So about the bath thing. I would say that as soon as he can sit up on his own. It doesn't matter age. Then when you do it just have the water really shallow the first few times till you know how he will be. I even would fill the bath tub just to the point that the whole bottom had water on it and layed my son on his belly. HE LOVED IT! This is though again if he can hold his head up on his belly. ;)

  • Gotcha! Thank you :o)

  • omg.. the "there" used wrong doesn't bother me as much but OMG when I see "your" and "you're" used wrong!!!! AHHH drives me insane! I know how you feel.. ha ha But I guess goodnight is one word but I ALWAYS write in two words and it drives my fiance crazy! :o)

  • Haha! It's sooo irritating huh?! I mean... I'm not the best speller, but YOUR and YOU'RE c'mon! How hard is it!?lol

  • alot hehe...jk you're so adorable

  • Haha I just cringed lol

  • You know I don't remember when we switched the tub thing for my daughter (mommy brain!) lol. But we just used one of those inflatable tubs & around 6 months we just let her go free in the tub. She did fine with it & loves to move around. Of course we all get wet!

  • I think almost EVERY baby is up a size in clothes, BOTH of mine were up in 6-9 at 4 and 5 months. I think they just make them smaller, so unless your kids are TINY they won't fit! But I love babies that are a little bit chunkier! I am STILL working off my baby weight and my son is almost 2! haha! BUT i didn't do any working out, until about 2 months, ago! haha My kids were about 6 months or so in the bath, because i wanted them to sit up by themselves first!

  • Oh MY Gosh! Haha. I can't believe he's getting that big! Aw!

  • Haha I saw her vlogs with Leah & she's such a cutie oh my gosh!! LOL that's so funny about the flowers, but I'm sure she enjoyed them anyway!

You're hilarious & make me smile!

And you look fabulous, so I agree, who cares about that number! Although I wish I gained 40 lbs my last pregnancy, I gained WAY more haha.

  • She is precious!! And thank you! :o)

  • Hahah I LOVE YOU! Epidural was the best thing I ever did for myself- I was in misery before I got it! And about the flowers, omg haha I LOVED them and it ended up they came at a great time because I got soooo cheered up when I got them! I was not expecting that at all :o) You are the sweetest in the world! I can't believe how big my lil buddy is getting! Pretty soon Leah is gonna be growing like a weed too.

  • I LOVE U!! Yea epidurals are incredible! I'm so glad they worked so well for us :o) And I love that you loved the flowers!

  • You look great! I agree with you about the epidural. It's a life saver! =)

  • Good to see an update.

I'mgald I didn't ask about Nikki. But I've had a newborn and know how much work it us. LOL

I agree on the epidural, actually so much so. I love themmmm.

AND you look great, keep it up.

    HUGS
