  • 'the good thing is that now you can buy that 150000 dollar home for 75000'....

My mother died and our family LOST over $150,000!!! thanks republican policy makers!! nothing better than a depression...

  • repeal nafta and remove the cap on fica. I can't work for less and prices will never go down.

  • clip clip clip clip....great editing hillbillyreport...i mean, based on what i just saw, of course you don't have any agenda you're trying to push. snippet clip clip.

  • what an idiot!!! He wants to drive down home values, drive down wages, and then do what...!

That ignorance only allows those with money to concentrate wealth even further. We can only fix the economy by creating good jobs (govt and private sector). Stop the corporate welfare for companies that are bad actors (outsourcing technology and jobs) and support companies that do the right things - as well as addressing our ports, levees, roads, etc.

  • @netgraffiti Where did he say he WANTS to drive down home values? What he's saying is that prices have to fall naturally by letting market forces take affect. That isn't going to happen with the administration and the FED interfering with tax breaks for home buyers and artificially low interest rates to stimulate home purchases. New home buyers are going to find their homes to be under water soon enough and prices will at some point reach levels the true market will accept.

  • Its funny how he wants us middle class wages to come down but if you asked him about CEO's pay he'd say "why do you hate success? we shouldnt punish them for their hard work" but we should be punished for our hard work? RIGHT... I'm catching on to your game. Thanks but No Thanks.

  • US Companies who send their jobs to China are pro-communist and anti-American. Real wages have been flat since Ronald Reagan busted the unions. US Citizens use credit cards -- primarily because their wages are too low to buy necessities with cash. Oh yeah, and Reagan deregulated the Banking Industry so these poor workers are also raped & pillaged by the Gangster Bankers.

--Heck of a job there, Ronny !

  • @greatbroad

Agreed to the fullest. He just said wages under him will fall but people will still vote for them.

  • @greatbroad where do wages come from? you think if we just keep printing money to give to our workers that somehow everyone will just end up being rich and producers and stores will just keep prices fixed while they go broke, just so you can pretend being rich? real wages do need to fall because we've re-inflated our debt bubble which caused the meltdown of 2008. Liberals, communists, socialists, you guys are the real dreamers who don't know jack about economics. santa clause does not exist!

  • @kobe88124 Jesus, are you ever brainwashed or braindead, baby. It used to be, Americans created "capital" by taking raw materials and then increasing wealth with each step in the manufacturing process. What do the people on Wall Street create for Society? What do banks create with all their fees and interest, Mr. Smarty?

  • @greatbroad where do you get the Wall Street connection from? I never said anything about them and if it weren't for you being so brain washed maybe you'd figure that I probably agree w/ you w.r.t. them. I even agree that we get our capital from our raw materials and use them to be productive, though it's hard for MANUFACTURING businesses to be productive and stay viable when their margins are getting wiped out by overly burdensome rules and regulations that impede their competitiveness.

  • @greatbroad so u want big goverment and regulated market, no problem, when u are goin to south africa, mexico, brasil, china or russia???

USA IS NOT PERFECT BUT it s much better than those 3 world toilet countrys, someone realy likes obamas mexico

  • @udical I want the USA to returned to it's citizens -- they way it was before you were even born. When JFK still drew breath, we had silver certificate dollars, US was to be out of Vietnam by 11/1964...

That's what I want. I want the Mob out of the C.I.A.-- as a matter of fact, let's do away with the C.I.A. all together. I want an end to the war on drugs. I want a complete repeal of the Patriot Act, for starters.

  • In his defense, he's saying that prices need to fall at the same time.

  • #OMG

he wants wages to go down to end the recession?

Okay.. let's start with eye doctors and senators.

  • @KataVideo So you want home prices to be artificially high, causing inflation rather than deflation, which helps consumers rather than savers?

Those on fixed incomes, through inflation, buy less with each dollar they saved. If deflation occurs and prices drop, on houses or goods and products, then each dollar can buy more.

So I'm confused as to why you want to punish savers.

  • @Nillok ok: wage reductions for eye doctors, senators and whatever you do first.

  • @KataVideo I get paid minimum wage, already at the bottom. As for eye doctors and Senators, for sure.

If you are referring to his opposition to reduction in Medicaid payments to doctors, that is because it has caused many clinics to refuse service for anyone who has Medicaid. If you want to help those on Medicaid and Medicare, don't reduce physician's payments 33% for doing more bureaucratic work.

  • @KataVideo "ron paul will never been president"

Thanks captain obvious. want to tell me something else I don't know? Like how the earth is round and sky is blue?

Because if you try to argue with me on the latter, I may debate you on that. That is merely a reflection of the water which covers 70%+ of the earth, which is why the night sky is full of empty blackness.

  • @Nillok libertardians imagine they're having arguments and debates on the internet. I just make fun of libertardians because they're sociopaths hiding beneath fig leaf of political doctrine.

  • @Nillok Are society for better or for worse is BASED on consumption, so saving in large amounts actually hurts our economy. Same reason why tax breaks to rich do VERY little to create jobs, tax breaks for middle class people creates MORE jobs because the spend most of their income, if a rich person gets a tax break thats just some extra 0's in the bank account. If a middle class person gets a tax break thats a new bike they buy for their kid, a new washing machine, actual job creation.

  • @benympls Based on consumption? Not for long lol. No sustainable society can consume more than it produces but america s economy is 70% consumption. people should be saving and manufacturing jobs should return, whatever it will take them to get back, but the government won't let these things happen. The debt will continue to rise, the interest on the debt will rise dramatically already this year since a lot the debt is due this year (short term debt). it is basically the chinese ppl financing us

  • @Sivels unvolutarily. The government take the chinese people money and give it to the american consumer who wastes it on things he can't afford. living above ones means will eventually result in living below ones means.

  • @Sivels i agree with you actually in this statement however Rand Paul has ALL the wrong ideas about how to get manufacturing back. If he was serious about it he would repeal NAFTA & CAFTA but Rand Paul would never throw his corporate masters under the bus. I cant even argue with what you just said how ever how to get to the goal line we are completely different.

  • @benympls Sure you would agree businesses should have no subsidies from government, and if they fail they fail. That's pretty much Paul s position on businesses. Businesses operate for profit, if the government makes it unprofitable to manufacture in USA they will outsource. And if you believe in protectionism, that's punishing the consumer and the business won't be able to compete because the product will be made at too high a price.

Rand Paul is right on the economics.

  • @Sivels See now your getting sucked into THEIR spin, i completely agree with you on subsidies. But what is protectionism? helping america, yeah i'm in favor of that. We didnt have "free trade" for hundreds of years & we got along fine and once "free trade" started our currency started falling faster than ever before(yes, i agree with ending the fed). We give MASSIVE tax breaks for companies that work over seas for shipping costs, if it was so profitable why do we pay for the shipping?

  • @benympls The currency drop has nothing to do with free trade lol, it has to do with the federal reserve printing till there's no trees left. The more they print the higher the price of real money (gold) goes. It's not about taxing products, it's about making production cheap. You do that by competition and letting the free market allow businesses to compete on wages etc. Then they will stay in the country. But regulations also drive up the costs, making businesses less efficient.

  • @Sivels typo: taxing companies. As long as the company stays in the country, they will reinvest the money and new jobs and new technology will arise. Taxes on corporations are already much higher than many places in 'socialist' Europe. What do you mean, helping America*? Helping the government? or help people? are people a country, or do they live in a country? I guess our philosophical difference is that I believe people own themselves, and the government is a servant, not a slavemaster.

  • @benympls Ya, Rand isn't exactly pro-corporatist (that is, believes big government should support big business with taxpayers money, privatize profits and socialize losses). His opponent, on the other hand, has received much more money from companies ($9,000 from BP), even as Attorney General when he was supposed to negotiate prices with utility companies - he raised them+relieved money from the companies (conflict of interest much?)

  • @Nillok i am not going to argue for the average democrat but do you know what Ayn Rand was all about?(thats who Rand Paul is named after) Ayn Rand is MUCH more than just Atlas Shrug, she formed the Objectivists started by Ayn rand believed that leaders of industry were superior to the average man & these captains of industry(monopolies & bankers) should rule society & really thought democracy was out dated. So no Rand Paul is COMPLETELY corporatist & has been brainwashed since a child 2 believe

  • @benympls His name is Randal, not Rand. He wasn't named after Ayn Rand, and wasn't called Rand until he met his wife. Randy is his family name.

Ron Paul didn't brainwash his son to believe everything Ayn Rand said was true, in fact Ron Paul dislikes her philosophy (and popular Objectivist hate Ron Paul because he's against the War on Terror). So you can just randomly ramble about something you have no clue about, but I'd suggest you speak of facts rather than suppositions.

  • @Nillok Well i was miss informed about his name but it was other Rand paul supporters who told me he was named after Ayn Rand. But NO Ayn Rand was a psycho & the objectivists are psycho's. i do not want the "superior man" ruling the world & i do believe in democracy! Objectivists are like battered wives who love their abuser & thinks if they just play their cards right they wont get abused again. Ayn Rand was wrong on 99% of everything she said & her thoughts were pulled out of thin air.

  • @KataVideo It's for public 'servants' (who actually make twice what people in the private sector make for the same jobs, benefits and pensions included, and they're just leeching off the private economy).

  • @Sivels Thats COMPLETELY WRONG. Lawyers that work as regulators used to get paid 3/4 of what they would make in the private sector, now they get paid 1/2. The right harps on & on about how unable the government can do anything but they purposefully put in people to fail & then for fill their own prophecy.
