Cool! I managed to get some Rescue Bots. Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Heatwave the fire engine.

@transformerfan1212 I just bought some humans today for stocking stuffers, nice little figures. On the BB you can remove the screw and gray piece under his arms and give him a TEENY TINY bit of articulation. I heard it on WTF@TFW and it worked on mine.

@damnyouhussies Funny you should mention that! On the bottom of the package is the usual legalese, but a closer look (don't know what made me notice lol) showed it to be the Australian distribution info! Strange,eh? Also, I remember seeing a tfw article that said they were already released over there because I was close to asking you to pick one up for me. Perhaps something got switched?

I am a bit of a sucker for these kind of toys at times, if they are cheap and well made they still have a lot of value as a cultural artefact.

Cool review. This Optimus doesn't seem to be that bad for what he is, plus he has a totally G1 inspired transformation. I don't like all that hollow space in the center though. I hope your kid has fun with him!

@stratonrye There's a lot of faults on this guy, but he looks good and lets the little ones have their "own" Prime. Articulation would have been nice, but as a result he's pretty solidly built.
