why 50 cm above the ground ? and one EVEN MORE IMPORTANT situation - what if someone else is driving towards me ? what will happened if i'm not in a rear gear ?
i suppose the sensor WOULDN'T RUN !
and ? what we're going to do ? I REALLY WANT TO BE PROTECTED AND FROM
OTHER VEHICLES THAT DRIVING ! Where i should plug the antenna ? (except in the rear gear lights)
Any suggestions ? I know that this actually means - the antenna would be running at every moment, but "the safe" is on the 1 place
@sahaja75 even if the park sensor is on by the time it beeps that someone behind you is close you probably wont have time to do anything....PARKING SENSOR is called that for a reason!
Good video but takes alot longer to fit in the real world. As for the product, it isn't very good on an Mk5 Astra Estate. I htink the bumber is to low as always getting false alarms, even picks up kerbs on the roadside. Mine went in the bin after using it for only 3 weeks. Probably the worst 70 quid i've ever spent to be honest.
@honkeytonk1000 I noticed a lot of people saying similar things in a vauxhall forum. You could have bought a cheap ultrasonic kit for 17.00 from that famous site! If you take the rear bumper off, the points to drill are marked clearly on the back of the bumper. My car had the markings used when you order sensors as an option from new, so I was able to fit ultrasonic sensors which work much better than this product.
no drill but you need to take the whole bumper off? which one is easier?
