  • its funny Todd usually plays lead gtr on crazy life.....maybe he seems a lil nervouse.....probly needed to pay more att to the lead vocs......still great though

  • Really? I always thought Glen did..

  • Great video, Jonas!

  • What are these White Bros doin on a Home-boy show? What up with that!

  • I was wondering the same thing.

  • When you play as well as they do, who cares about the color of their skin?

  • Great live performance. I love Todd's singing voice and I REALLY love Glen's.

  • what year was this?

  • 1997 On the coil tour.

  • Class act!

  • Glen is one of the most amazing ppl in music

  • Todd!

  • nostalgia...

  • I absolutely love this song.

  • Empire records always brings me memories. I think one of the best alternative rock soundtracks of the 90's.

    Gin Blossoms

    Cracker

The Cranberries and of course Toad The Wet Sprocket

  • Yeah, totally! It's a great compilation. I think the soundtrack was actually better than the movie. The movie wasn't that bad, but the best part of that movie was the soundtrack. Oh, yeah, you forgot Better than Ezra.

  • I did, my bad. BTE rocks too. Circle of friends is a really cool song. I wonder why they didn't put this song in their Greatest Hits compilation. Am I the only one who thinks it's a good song?

By the way, I had the chance to see TTWS in concert last January. People were looking at me because I was singing this song really really loud.

  • there are too many good things about empire records to write down. we watch it at least every couple months or so. (of course, being a guy, liv tyler....uh, yeah)

  • sorry, don't know how i had soadfan logged in still, sorry, but the comment was from me! that's my boy. crap.

  • one of the most underrated bands ever

  • Absolutely. I couldn't agree more. The first time I ever heard them was back when I lived in Brazil. I heard All I Want, and instantly fell in love with their music.

  • Here here I (the group's director) first saw them live on the mall in DC around the time Clinton began in office. They are fantastic.

  • amazing band...outstanding

  • I love these guys,, do you have more vids of them???

  • Such a great band, such a great song!

  • Classic song!!

    Empire Records YO!!

  • LOL at 90s style and fashion

  • todds a great singer, dean is the man though

  • Hey, they don't have any Live Performance on DVD, do they?

  • I believe they only have live CD's, no live DVD's.

  • The only live DVD is Glen from his solo stuff

  • Great Live!

  • finally!! been waiting for this-- good job!

  • could glen sound any better on that guitar.........

    TWS..so underated...comercially....its sad....

least they know the fans they have....are real

  • Funny... I always though Glen sang this song. Cool that Todd actually does it. He just seems a little nervous, but wouldn't be if you were filming for a major network? Yeah, UPN was kind of a major network. Todd's kinda cute anyway.

  • I thought Glen sang this song too... I kind of wish he did in this video.

  • Happy Birthday to Todd Nichols, 40 years old today, aug 10th!

  • An awesome song...thanks for posting this from all of Indian Country, it's my closing song on my radio show...pilamayelo, wopila tanka...

  • Todd sang about 25% of the songs......so i think they knew who had the better voice....regardless its still Toad and it still rules.

  • This is one of my favorite songs by Toad!

  • awesome song, awesome band...but glen should have been singing. without question. his voice is ten times better

  • Agreed. Still a great rendition...couldn't ask for much more

  • glen never sang crazy life, though. it's always been todd.

  • I think I'm not the only one who was looking for a live version of this song. It's simply awesome

  • one of the greatest songs of Toad, with a great performance!

  • one of my absolute favorite toad songs!!

  • Said it before--One of THE best songs from that great musical decade ,the 1990s. A jukebox fave from the day.

The movie was only ok but the Empire Records soundtrack kicked ass.

  • brilliant
