  • Nice list but how the fish song reach dere LOLOL talapia yes LMAO..R*P

  • Damn... missed out Trevor Sayers worldwide hit "Stamina Man"...

  • still trying to understand how number 12 get in there, but good clip, i enjoyed your selections

  • @scribby007 lol cause is only a trini could sit down and make up shit like da

  • true video, Trini's we need to take a look at we self. We are not like the rest of the world, we are unique..dont get caught up singing about rubbish.....

  • I LOVE THIS. Now i have to go in the town and look for some old albums! ANyone know where i can all of these somewhere in South?

  • i have to say, I really love this. I loved how you tried to incorporate the different genres of Trini music into the video. Trinis tend to forget we have more to our music culture than chutney and soca. Wished i saw more Lord Kitch, Sparrow, David Rudder though... HOWEVER please explain to me how Fishnin is a trini song that actually makes sense, because i really don;t see it...i love it.but i really dont see the sense in it.. :s lol

  • @cherrypie2525 Is bout selling fish! Haha, well, when I say "made sense", I meant 'express a piece of our culture' as well. And I think Fishnin' is a good example of incorporation of Trini 'sound' in local rock music. If that makes any sense...

  • GOOD stuff1! <3 to see Naked walk here

  • it was disappointing not to see david rudder - trini 2 d bone

  • ah love it

  • I like this list... honestly. But its a bit too short for all the other songs that 'meant or said anything' Well done though! I rate this list.

  • @Noparticularperson Thanks! I tried to put a little of everything in there - soca, chutney, rapso, local rock, kaiso, instrumental, parang - and was quite surprised (and dare I say, proud) by how diverse our sounds are when it comes to expressing an idea or a slice of our culture. I know I missed out a lot like Mighty Sparrow, Scrunter, Sharlene Boodram, Bunji Garlin, Ras Shorty I, David Rudder, etc. but I guess someone else can make another list with those? :)

  • @TheTriniBerry Great compilation, "Fishnin" was questionable. Sparrow is not a Trinbagonian though. A Rudder - High Mass or Bachanal Lady and any Kitchener would have made this list a perfect 10!

You get a 9 in my book.

    Well Done! :-)

  • @aracroix Thank you! Please check out Part 2 to see how I filled in the blanks! It's posted as a reply to this video.

  • Just watched it off of Buhwamoder's wall.

Well done! I think about 5 of those songs I've never heard before, but I'll be sure to look them up!

    Fabulous vid!

  • once again.....you accomplish to help sharp our minds about the good stuff

  • amazing video....keep up the epic awesomeness..
