  • can usa it for a ps3

  • Virgin mobile or watever it's called has a mifi you don't need a contract I think it's 50 dollars a moth not sure but it's ok

  • Does everything come with a 2 yr contract these days?!?!

  • i got a signal from my PSP. stupid WPA-PSK(TKIP)

  • (I keep hitting the dang enter button.) Anyways, it's not worth it to pay extra for Wifi.

  • not worth it to pay extra for the wir

  • I've been thinking of getting something like that. The idea I thought of was that I could it in the car when we go on family trips. We go to Disney alot and It

  • Cuanto Cuesta y cuanto pago al mes?

  • ok, can you use it worldwide? for example if you have a worldwide cellphone number which works wherever you go, will this service plan also support worldwide?

  • price is through the roof and its a piece of shit it over heats about every 15 mins then it has to cool down for about 10 and it gets SHITTY service its a waste of money DO NOT buy this i fully reget buying it.

  • @DontMessWithUncleSam no the price of the Mifi is not through the roof its only $99.99 ur acting like its $1000

  • try some video's cause the speed screams

  • what is mifi mean

  • price is ridiculous...

  • Can I leave it home and bring my iPod touch and still have the network on my iPod touch?

  • @TheRedHawksWrestling no u have to take it with u if u want to have a connection with the MiFi

  • Do u have to have it with you everywhere u go or can u leave it at home and bring ur itouch and still have the network On the iPod touch?

  • Ridiculous, most expensive net ever

  • @Shayd93 NO ITS NOT!!!!! Its only $99.99 do u know how much money it takes to make that it costs 5x more than wat its worth u make it seem like it's $500

  • does the verizon mifi work in the republic of ireland please someone tell me and were could i get it?? please

  • Good review, kudos! I was wondering what is under the hood with this thing. I work out doors and I was looking for something to play Internet based radio, pandora/Sirus on my touch, but like you mentioned, it's for lite use basically. I guess it's back to the drawing board. Thanks for the review, it was well informative.

  • work on ps3??

  • @suphomieG444

works on EVERYTHING that use WiFi...

  • How high is the price

  • Great video Larry!!

  • Nice review! I use my Verizon phone and tether it to my computer, then use its internet to broadcast a wifi hotspot from my computer. Complicated setup, but unlimited Internet on all my devices for $30 month!

  • @AntonsYTChannel it can only be used on Verizon's EVDO Rev. A network and cannot be used on Sprint's WiMAX network which technically isn't 4G

  • retard

  • Does the Connectivity work while charging?????

  • Thanks Larry,

I use ours to run our auctions in the field. We use it to run credit cards, and some times to run on-line feeds to allow us to take live Internet bids. Our main problem is when we have to have it hooked to only one computer at at time. I can hit it from several if it is unpluged from a computer but then it dies after a few hours. I am looking at Youtube to find a video I saw where you can toggle a bit and change that so (hooked up) you can see 5 computers. Thanks for your views.

  • how much is it per month if u dont mind me asking

  • How do you find out how much is left?

  • all you have to do is jailbreak your iphone 3g or 3gs then download MyWi 4.0 via Rock to do the same as your MyFi then say fuck it your MyRipOff.

  • no offense but the iphone takes in a at -an- t wifi that cost much less im just trying to inform you that u wasted ur money

  • "it's like your own Starbucks in your pocket." bahaha!

  • 250 euro???? CRAZY!!!!!

  • Thanks for making this video because I really wanted to figure out what the prices are.

  • Wanna know whats completely RETARDED? How much this crap is.

  • HAHA DAMN THAT SUCKS NO UNLIMITED DOWNLOAD XD

  • ...... or you could jailbreak your iphone download a app called mywi and create your own wifi hotspot using your iphone 3g network that you can connect your computers to... i dont see a reason to pay $60 a month and $99 for the damn thing when i can do this for free on my iphone lol

  • What do you mean that you won't worry if there is 3G signal available? Aren't you using a cellular signal or in this case EVDO? It isn't like you are using a satellite signal and the signal would depend on your network's coverage.

  • price is damn steep. I was considering getting it, but $60 for a few GIG is expensive. I guess I will just stick to my 3G ipad's $30 service.

  • "My iphone", "my verizon", "my home router", a bit anoying ...

  • or use mywi on a jailbroken iphone/ipod touch

  • lol your own starbucks :D

  • how much does it cost is it monthly or how

  • jail break your iphone, download MyWi and it turns your iphone into a wireless router. No monthly fee (uses your iphone's 3G)

  • What kind of screen shield do you have on your iphone?

  • @techmen6969 clear coat

  • @AntonsYTChannel only sprint right now.

  • can i use this on my main desktop computer as a modem when my home internet goes down? My computer does not have wifi.

  • @phototristan not if your computer doesnt have wifi.

  • @larrygreenberg Yes you can if you connect via USB you can use it

  • @phototristan Yes, you can attach it via USB if you have the included software.

  • @phototristan Using the USB cable and VZAccess Manager, you can use it for a connection to your main desktop. The Wifi is disabled while it is tethered though.

  • @phototristan You would have to get a USB dongle for the wifi.. Once you've done that, this shouldnt be a problem.

  • What if u download apps does that effect data usage

  • Also I have internet for free?

  • i just got this mifi from sprint. and i'm a over the road trucker and it works great and it work great on my PLAYSTATION 3 now i can play online anytime.

  • Would you recommend me dropping my regular internet connection in favor of MiFi? I guess the overage fee isn't that bad (5 cents/megabyte).

  • can I go on the internet with my iPod touch when I'm out someplace? cuz I only get internet at on there when im at home

  • ok and do you have to pay monthly or no

  • can i connect to my vista laptop with this

  • Yes.

  • I think Verizon must have just put up a new antenna near the beach in Playa del Rey. My service is incredible now. The MiFi rules. Life is great. Women are positive and men are cool too.

  • can you connect to your ps3??

  • yes

  • me and my family uses the internet probably a total of 4 hours a day for web browsing (facebook, myspace, email) and i also watch youtube videos quite often. i also download probably 5 songs a week. would the 5gb plan be enough?

  • hofo!

  • Does it work on ipod touches

  • 0:32

  • whats 1 password logins?

  • wht speed is it?

  • its like my own starbucks... lol then does it come with a coffee machine?

  • i think if you planned to only use mifi for browsing and checking email your better off tethering your iphone and saving 60/mo IMO.

  • do u have to pay mounthly and if so how much do u have to pay?

  • $60 for 5 gig per month.

  • @miclegendx666 Their is a plan that will make it more flexible. The third option is purchasing this full price. After that, you can pay Verizon month-to-month and fluxuate from $59.99 to the lower price or stop paying until you need it again. Also, their is a $15 a day unlimited. Just like Verizon's unlimited access for a dollar or two a day for cell phone only users. I'd ask first, because my info is a year old.

  • @elchamber When I say full price, I was talking about the device only. The data plan is a different bill.

  • its on Amazon right now for 0.01 w/2-year contract

  • lick my nuts

  • How much a month?

  • @FREESTLE760 60 dollars for 5 gig plan.

  • so u put a sim card inside the 3g hotspot that you would usually put in your phone? is it the same sim card?

  • There is no SIM card.

  • Verizon doesn't have a SIM in any of their devices. Their towers are all CDMA not GSM.

  • ur face is a rip off

  • can this work this work in brazil cause some parts of brazil there dont offer cable internet or dsl internet and i offtain go they and visite barzil from usa and i get bord so this would be a grate way to got my laptop online

wants agan i live in the usa

  • It is an amazing device! Amazing, but i don't want to spend 60$ for it. I'll stick with my home router and survive without it when i'm on the road.

  • Cool device, if Joikuspot wasn't limited to Nokia devices the Mifi would fail in the market.

  • Yes.

  • so what happens if you leave it on all the time, night and day?

  • As long as there's no active web connection I imagine nothing.

  • thats my question, see i have unlimited mb use so i can exceed the 5 gbs but will this little thing break? i have a usb card and i use it alot and it works the same, i'm thinking of getting this so i can use it with my ps3 and my laptop and so 4th. but will like it mess up if i just have it plug in to the outlet or will it turn off or mess up????

  • There is no unlimited plan.

  • LOL.. i've had my broadband for 3 years, i have an old plan where they offered unlimited mbs, i've used over 30gb's a month, that is not my question, i'm asking will this little thing last that longed connected to the outlet or will it mess up

  • I don't know the answer to that one.

  • LOL. oh darn, well i already ordered it, but thanks for the informative video. =)

  • *long

  • are you saying you use this devise with your unlimited wireless internet PHONE plan and it remains unlimited??

  • yes i do, i bought this mifi and it works great! i can use it day and night because i have unlimited mb usuage which was offered back in 07. right now it is not offered which limits the usuage to 5gbs. i'm so happy! =)

  • 60$ a month, 5gb plan. bandwidth. if you go over, you pay more.

  • larrygreenberg, I'm not sure why you'd buy this when you have an iPhone. If you need internet on your computer, you can tether, and for free.

You can't connect to multiple computers at the same time, but how many do you need to be on at a time. lol

Guess you got lots of money, though. =P

  • You can not tether "legally" yet and Verizon's EV-DO network is faster. Also I do not waste my iPhone's battery.

  • that small device looks incredibly useful for me, and it should be coming to me tomorrow because i ordered it and everything.

  • Cool product.

  • isnt this the same thing as buying a 3g card or using your iphones 3g?

  • Not at all. 1. It's wireless. 2. U can connect up to 5 devices to it. 3. Works in places there is no 3G from AT&T. 4. It's faster.

  • Oh. I forgot you can connect up to 5 devices to it. I would rather get this than a 3g card because they are the same price a month. Thanks for replying.

  • I enjoy your videos Larry but this product I just don't get. First off the two green glowing power and signal indicators that were burning my retinas in your video, is there any way to dim them? I can't see people putting that thing in their pocket at night having a green glow emanating outward. Also $59.99/mo for 2 yrs 5GB limit/mo + $199.99 sounds WAY too expensive just for VZW EVDO which didn't look too fast in your video compared to free WiFi in SF. Your opinion, worth it for a traveler?

  • Sorry, I mean + $149.99 - $50 mail in rebate for the device itself. But to add to my previous post, this is CDMA so am I correct in thinking this will just work in the US where EVDO is available? That would also cut down the usefulness of it even more...

  • Correct, it's CDMA. I don't travel internationally so that isn't a concern for me. The LEDS don't look that bright in person. I agree the 5 gig cap. is not enough. I'm finding the speed very fast.

  • when do this thing come out????

    i need it ...PRONTO!!!

  • I think it's been out for about a month.

  • wow thats sweet!

  • WHOA i want one, and i want one now, that looks wicked i hope there is one in teh uK

  • very ineresting,

  • That's an awesome device. The gig limit does suck though.

  • wow man that's pretty freakin sweet...its so small I love that, wish there wasn't a gig limit but its still sweet either way

  • dude this thing is sick

  • this is awesome

  • How much do these cost?

  • $99.

  • All you need now is a mini coffee machine and you can start a mini starbucks =O

  • Lol

  • nice looks like a good device. 5 stars

  • IM confused! :) dont you already have a 3G data plan with AT&T your iPHONE!??

  • Sure do.

  • really like the device and idea, but the price...little too much for me lol

  • What kind of screen shield of do you have?

  • Power Support Anti Glare

  • I would love to have something like that. Can't wait till they bring it out over here. Great unboxing Larry. Are these available without contract?

  • The month to month price for the hardware was $399.
