Absolutely amazing. I love watching Dave perform, and will attend any show that I can get to, within reasonable distance! 4 kids makes it tough to travel too far, but I've seen Blackhawk 3 times...so far! Can't wait until they make it back to South Dakota.

My band opened up for Black Hawk in 1999 and will be opening for them again tomorrow 2009. Dave Robbins was a very personable guy to speak with. It is a shame he is no longer with Blackhawk. Henry Paul was NOT a personable guy. It's a shame he's still in Blackhawk.

@forgotn1972 Always had a feeling Henry Paul was an a-hole. Just seeing the videos, Dave & Van (RIP) looked like the nice guys while Henry looked like he thought he was better than being the lead vocals in a trio. Don't get me wrong, BlackHawk is one of my favorite bands (as long as it's the original line-up of Dave, Van, & Henry), but there's just something there I can't explain.

@grinder324 When we opened up for them the second time, Henry Paul was as much of a dink as he was the first time. I believe Dave Robbins carried Black Hawk and was instrumental in Restless Hearts success due to his songwriting skills. Dave needs more recognition for being an awesome songwriter!!

@grinder324 I met both Henry and Dave last summer. I thought Henry was very personable guy. Dave was also. From what I can tell, Henry is the leadership personality that gets bands going and enjoys performing very much. Dave seemed a bit less outgoing but his role is more along the lines of songwriting. Van was very good at expressing deep emotions thru music. In any case, some of the opinions expressed I think are a case of incompatible personalities clashing.

Dave is also the member of one of my favorite bands, Blackhawk, and I love this song!
