New Ford Lane Change Technology

Not a bad idea, but most people need more than 3 blinks to change lanes. Actually, 3 blinks might actually prove to be an annoyance. From my experience, a good default setting would be 4-6 blinks. Or perhaps better yet, give the driver the choice to adjust the setting as to how many blinks to use (from say 1-10 blinks) to correspond to his or her driving style preference. There should also be an OFF feature (for those who have the habit of accidentally hitting the signal stalk).

No they don't, it is more then a turn signal that automatically turns off, it is for freeway use that only does three blinks so you don't have to worry about accidently leaving it on. Most european cars do not have this technology, name 20 euro cars that have this, i bet you can't.

Oh My Gawd, someone built a car with turn signals what are the masses to do? Shoot, next thing you know is they'll actually put someone behind the wheel of these fancy contraptions who know what all those knobby things and stick out things are for and how to work them. These new signaling thingy's are just gonna cause massive chain reaction accidents everywhere because people aren't going to know what to do when lights start flashing.
