But this scene in new version, Zhuge Liang have no feeling match when play gu qin at all . Is this performance can say better than the old version????? I don't think so

@victorhng this version was also got big budget. but it concentrate about the photography and CG more than the shooting as the natural which this cause many places look so fake and unreal. you can also see in this scene and especially the guqin is not the same at last.

the emotional in this scene was totally made the feeling drop. you can listen to the song as Liang played and then see Liang's expression face in this scene, it was totally unmatched at all.

@victorhng you're right that they rushed the scenes (many scenes) but they also extend too long for some scenes , they rushed some of important scenes that should be give more of the expression for the character's and relationship such as for example of Liang remind Guan Yu keep Jingzhou, the old version did superb performance expression between zhuge liang to Guan Yu as Liang know Guan Yu 's fate so he keep remind with very worry and care to Guan Yu. But the new version of expression drop

@svlina lol i didnt notice u wrote 2 comments. yea the character portrayals were so inaccurate it was like a parallel universe soap opera. original kongming was a real strategist. inaccurate scenes such as zhou yu's argument with sun quan over authority to sima yi getting married near the end is jus lame imo. also sima yi always walks with both his sons and sun quan early appearance as child is also inaccurate

if you see 2 version and compare Liang remind Guan Yu keep Jingzhou scene, you will understand what's I say ,New three have some good scene when Liang's saw the star falling (which this was not show in the old version) but later on the feeling was drop because they rushed the conversation and performance of Liang advise to Guan yu was not give the feeling of care at all, look like the commander more than adviser which this was not worth description this chapter in finally.

@svlina yea but in old scene it was raining so it did not show star falling. in the new one there seems to be internal conflict going on between liu bei brothers and kongming. almost like a sibling rivalry. like in one scene in new where zhang fei yells at liang for being coward for not send troops to rescue liu bei when he was married to sun quan sister in dong wu. almost look like he was about to cry lol

@victorhng yeah.the old version was rainning in that chapter but the new version scene of watching star falling was also good. New3 the point of conflict between LB brothers and Liang ,in my opinion those factors was very waste of screenplay. It is different feeling between New and old version. In the old version the relation between Liang with Guan Yu, Zhang Fei was also good in later on , Liang knew their behavior so he advise them for improvement, this point Liang also care to handle.

@victorhng In new three they have add some new plots such as Zhou Yu and his wife 's argument because his wife help Zhuge liang to go back . This was a waste screenplay and bad adding story in my opion. Because Zhou Yu is also a hero of Wu and his family with his wife is perfect so that why the old version when Zhou Yu die, Zhuge Liang have remind praise Zhou Yu's great battle and love story. this given praise to Zhou Yu that was the point of sincere even Liang have some politics base
