These Onkalo builders are completely out of their minds.
Instead of stopping the madness of nuclear power plants they come up with this ludicrous idea to burry the crap for 100.000 years - and actually really seem to believe, if somewhat subconsciously that they are doing a sacred act.

The film is totally stunning, best I have seen in a long time!
The problem is that even if every nuclear power plant shut down tomorrow, there already exists an immense quantity of radioactive waste that will be dangerous for a very long time to come. Until people realise the long-term risks presented by nuclear power it will be necessary to find ways to dispose of that waste in as safe a manner as can be managed.
