How do you do that fast shit that you sneak in here and there (mark king style;P ).. i can slap pretty good but i´ve never figured out how to do that..
You get into practice with fills on bass when you solo a lot. I've played for 18 years and I still have trouble with it due to the routine of staying in time with the other musicians. Also, if you play with regular band they have to adapt to your particular style of soloing (they know about where and when you'll fill). Conclusion, it's a very refined skill, so develop it at a pace our comfortable with doing.
@DUNDERKRULL Although I can't see specifically wich technique he's using in this video, there is a myriad of ways to do this. The two most common are 1)Slap down with the thumb, pop back up with the thumb, then pop with your forefinger in a sixteenth-triplet feel, and 2)Slap with the thumb, then pop with both the index and middle fingers in the same timing. The second technique is very Wooten-esque, and can be used with a second thumb pop to make a complete beat of sixteenths.
HI there u r very good! got one question. These triplets are played with, slap with your thumb, then pop with the index finger , and at last pop with the middle finger???

This is fantastic music. And now, all you need is to play the bass in the sunset, with your friends.

I like the Yamaha sound. Checkout Casiopea's bassist, Tetsuo Sakurai. He gets a great sound from his Yamaha too.
