Choudary is an example of how religion leads people to profanity and violence.

Moderates are examples of people who have a natural urge against such behavior.

Islam is not a religion of peace, but rather its enemy.

I fully understand that most Muslims are moderate and genuinely good people who don't resort to profane and violent acts, unlike Choudary and Bin Laden. But the point is, that the evil is in the very texts of Koran and Hadith.

That means, Islam(religion as a whole too) has a potential to lead all its believers to violent acts and/or remarks. That is what I denounce. Religion is abjection. It is a self-abnegation.

@fastballonly i find it laughable how a non-muslim can read a few verses of the Quran and suddenly thinks of himself as an expert on the religion. the verses were sent down during different points in the life of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) after he recieved prophethood. the so called violent verses were revlealed during the first battle the muslims had to go through against the Quraysh, so ofcourse the verses would tell the muslims to kill the kaffir its common sense,

The Quran was the final revelation, the reason for the similarity with the previous revelations is because they were also sent by the God to the ealier prophets Jesus, moses etc, so ofcourse the message will be similar
