Fritz Koenig was very moved when he viewed his sculpture set and resting next to the pieces left of the antenna that tipped one of the World Trade Towers. "The Sphere" is one of only a few dozen things that were found under all of that that and still remained intact; mostly. It's amazing. I remember the fountain. There in that plaza, under those beautiful buildings; 1984... it was wonderful.
I'm happy that Mr. Koenig is still here with us and his legacy will endure. =^.^=
