but you dont play goalie because you dont have the mental for physical capabilities to be one. and yes i am one, top of my league, 1.58 goals against, and .918 Sv%, 16 games, if you can make it in the NHL your good, specially a goalie because there are only 2 present for each team at the games. when there are what, 20 other forwards and defense, you have no class and need a life.

Say what you want about DiPietro, but the bottom line is, with how non-existent the Islanders' offensive production has been this season, there is no way the Islanders would be anywhere near the playoff race without the play of DiPietro. He may not be the best goalie in the NHL, or even in the top 5, but he's certainly better than sub-par.
