1974 was the best year of my life...young, handsome, strong, happy, loved rock&roll but INCREDIBLY I never listen to or even knew John Denver existed until I moved to Colo Spgs in 1979....have been a huge fan ever since. Broke my heart when he died.

I think John Denver's wife Annie and him broke up probably for a lot of reasons. I believe he was gone a lot on tour and often. He probably didnt mean for it to happen but maybe the stress of his being gone on tour and possibly other problems in their marraige we won't know about took its toll. Of course its too bad it didnt work out. This song he sings here is a great song. Its sort of a calming song. He was a talented person.

I would all of you who love John Denver to realize just how many lives he saved with his music. I was going to kill myself when I heard a John Denver song; it gave me hope when I had none. I owe my life to God working through John's music. I suffer from depression but John's music always inspires me to give life another chance. The words in his music heal something in me that is missing. I thank God for John and his spirit and heart. ALL MY LOVE
