@crazycommentsgirl What he was trying to say that while the UMD was a silly idea, the fact that Sony didn't handle the digital distribution of its games well enough meant that a lot of the games you had for UMD you now couldn't play on the Go (it's worse if you sold your PSP 1000-3000 for the Go) plus many of the accessories that worked with the OLDER PSPs now won't work with the Go which means you have to repurchase all of your accesories. I'll stick with my PSP 3001 :)

@ahnedalaraji PSP Go is by far the worst. The only reason it was released was to test out the Xperia Play (which made the go a no go). If you want, get the 2000 or 3000 cause it has wifi. That and they are lighter.

Not too many epic games came out for it besides Metal Gear, and the Spyhon Filter games. There just wasn't many I was intrested in. That's my personal opinion. I may not get Vita because I defected to 3ds.

you got to be careful for supporting digital only copy because unlike physical media like UMD, you are only paying for the licensing to play the game so you will never own a game anymore. this opens up a pandora's box of restrictions to the users mainly the resell market. when resell market is done out and no longer there to stimulate the new game sell, the price of new games WILL go up. this is not limited to portable! also, if digital has no manufacturing cost, why ar they still expensive?

No, that would be the OnLive system. When you download a game, you still PHYSICALLY own it on your hard drive (or in this case, on the Memory Stick) .

But I do agree with you about the resell market, however digital should always be an alternative, because sometimes, depending on where you live, older games are very hard to find and sometimes even more expensive than their original price.

Don't do that. It's expensive, you can't play your PSP old games on it, the screen is smaller, the control is worse, the battery lasts less, the internal memory is a joke if you want many games, and it sucked so hard that Sony doesn't produce it anymore.

ive never had any problems with mine and i bought it used 3 years ago so its probley 4 or 5 years old and it still works like new my brand new psp 3001 has no problems either and its 2 years old

I agree, but, 1st.-All you need is a video converter software to convert the movies you own to a MP4 format,no need to buy the movie again. 2nd, with a CFW (Custom firmware) you need to download a UMD dumper utility to save all your games on your MemStickDuo and load them from there every time, no need for your UMD anymore once you have the games saved on your MemStick etc... plus they are still making games for the PSP! obsolete? maybe not just yet. CFW can bring the psp back to live!
