Graduated high school started working for local small contractor. Worked for him for NINETEEN years. When he left he was making 17 an hour no benifits any over time was supposed to be banked for time off lmfao never happened.
Got a better offer,took it. Now making 20 an hour full benifits company truck. Im working, making good money. We buy a house, new car (we've earned it?).I get sick, 2 months in hospital. Then he gets permanent lay off after 7 years on this job cause they aint doing building anymore just
O.K.Another job for him 18 an hour no benifits--both off us needing medical care. He has copressed disks from all this HARD work.last 2 years he has been layed off 6 months and is now layed off AGAIN! So, not a death sentence but say goodbye to everything he has work VERY HARD AND LONG for.

LAID OFF. The scariest thing is not knowing when I will (if ever) be called back to work. 9 years of seniority and a stable life- now in question.
