The first Tomb Raider game i played was Legend for the Xbox years ago. I just bought it yesterday along with underwold for my 360. Now i hear that this is a remake of the first game. I want to get into the franchise i like the games a lot, is this really the first game Modernized? Should i get it? Also am i missing any big plot points before legend? If someone could help me id appreciate it...

"Anniversary" is quintessentially a remake of Tomb Raider 1, the very first and original game in the franchise and yes, you should get it, if you haven't already. "Legend" was the first Tomb Raider game developed by Crystal Dynamics. All of the other 6 Tomb Raider titles prior to "Legend" were developed by Core Designs. And you should know, if you don't already know, that "Legend", "Anniversary" and "Underworld" are now available in HD on one disc. Hope this helps.

Man, it is so cool how you just memorize where to go. That maze just drives me bonkers, and I think that it is awesome that you mastered it. I know that if you just wander around, you can find all of the elephants eventually, but what you do is so much cooler, lol. I love your vids!

The manor mini-game is fully unlocked from the start - you do not have to play anything first.

The reason you don't have the grapple is the same reason you don't have the pistols, the journal, etc... - you're supposed to find them. So watch the video - that's why I uploaded it in the first place ok? ;)

You can get any missing items by replaying the levels and/or the manor. No new profile needed.

oh yea, to unlock the cheats, i have to download all the levels (i have this for the xbox 360 and you can only download 2 levels ata a time) and beat all 4 to unlock the cheats?

The relics are just for outfits, and the artifacts just unlock extras like bios and concept art. If it's the cheats you want, you need to do the time trials. A single time trial won't unlock anything, you need to all the time trials concerning a location (like all 3 Egypt levels and so on).

You need to finish the game first. When you do, the option will appear on the difficulty setting like you guessed.

Not the 'books'. Just that particular one. She reads: '...There's some numbers written in the inside cover - 11, 2, 7...' Those numbers are used later to solve the sundial puzzle down in the garden.

In my particular case, I press 'E' (i.e. the interact key). But whatever the platform you're playing, all you need to do is stand close to that closet and the game itself will tell you. In fact you can see the tip in the video... :)
