mine sucks the sniper scope snapped not right of but it snapped and the knee when u pose him straight he has like a big gap between his knee pad and bottom leg armor and i just took him out and i cant return him so my day has completely been ruined thanks to this figure

Hi Erica how long have you been collecting and reviewing toys? I see only 5 videos but the way you do it, including proper light box (I believe that's what it's called) makes me think you've done more before?

On another note can the torso be separated? I'm hoping that it can in case mine is loose, so I can use the good ol' nail polish trick.

Erica any chance you or anyone else can recommend a quality display manufacturer to hold the figures? There are tons of sites of course but I don't wanna shell out the dough for something that isn't worth it. Also yeah Mcfarlane quality on the Reach figures are terrible. I can't believe he approved those to be released.

@Haddarack : Ah as far as my taste goes, I'm a bit anti-stand, so I can't really recommend any as of now :( The only stand I have for any of my figures is my Micheal VF-25G from Macross Frontier, because it came with the stand and the figure is so heavy it needs the stand. Sorry I can't be of more help.

How skinny do these figures look in person?

The one thing that bugs me from reviews and pics is how skinny these guys look.

@Lockerboythethird : well this is what they look like, I didn't use anything special on the review. A big trend and style to a lot of Japanese artwork is long lean lines. Everyone has their own preferences, and a couple people have commented on how "lean" they look. So you're not alone in your thinking :)

If these were anything but halo characters; i would've been all over them (literally), but they're just to skinny to accurately capture the look of the characters.

I've heard from some that Square Enix has a tendency to stylise their figures, but c'mon, this is halo, don't mess witht the look please.

Yeah a friend of mine pointed out how Carter looks a bit... "smooshed" especially with his helmet. Carter so far is my least favorite in series 2 with the problems I've been made aware of, so it's a bit of a bummer. I'm looking forward to Jorge though :)
