Government activity should be to help the people, not suffocate, stifle & imprison them and abolish what the United States was originally founded on. Bill of Rights, Constitution, everything. This is a matter of of changing the world, and the senate, those supporting the bill don't even realize how bad this will be.
Ya know what, if SOPA actually passes and the internet is ruined, I'm not going to buy any CD's, movies, etc any more. Just using money for vacations to other countries and living.
@StoneMonkWisdom Well it's not only them, but it's movie companies and a few more that think that SOPA is a good idea. Not to mention the fact they tried to do this behind closed doors just means a bit more that they don't think too much of us and won't listen to us unless we flashed a large sum of money in their faces or something along the lines, I don't blame most people for predicaments, but does everything they do have to come at our expense? Apparently so.
@leon4000 Not only is it disrespectful to the masses to try keeping it behind closed doors, but the fact that they tried that also shows that they know many are against it. Possibly to the point that even they realize it's a bad idea, but they still support it because of the Money that's thrown at them. If SOPA is passed, this is just the beginning, they'll use it as an excuse to make other laws & bills to infringe our human rights even more. FUS RO DAH! I shout because I am Dovahkiin!
