This is 1940's Charleston NOT 1920's Charleston (flapper, etc). It's a good series of lessons.

I don't know why you think this isn't Charleston. It's not the solo Charleston or even the original partner Charleston, but it's the east coast swing version that you can mix in. This is a good video in my opinion, I like the transition.

Sad to say, this swing ain't swinging. The Swing isn't a ballroom dance you mimic steps to, it's improv. It takes courage, creativity. You gotta swing! This is a start, but it ain't the swing, and it sure ain't the charleston.
