Aint it a bitch to find parts for these though? if anyone knows a good parts source for oem stuff or even the aftermarket stuff please let me know.
Sounds like a similar Slant Six setup to mine -- although, your car is in better shape... You might try adding a more aggressive cam, it makes the Slant Six sound a lot meaner. I've got dual Flowmaster 40s, Offy Intake and racing cam to give it a nasty sound.
I have about 12k and 15 years into it. New paint, new engine, new transmission, new exhaust, upholstered buckets, new bumpers, new brakes, most everything else is original.
Nice car. What kind of exhaust do you have on it? I have a 1970 Dodge Dart with a slant six, and I can't get the exhaust to sound good. From what I can hear, I like the sound of your exhaust, it's much more muscle car sounding than mine.
The exhaust is custom. It has a custom Dutra Dual front manifold and modified rear half of the original using the heat riser. 2 two inch pipes into a H pipe and a set of flowmaster 40s. Thanks for asking.
I just bought a 67 notch back for 2400 it has some rust in the usual places but is still very respectable
seats were redone door panels,visors headliner and came with 4 fresh tires with original rally wheels

Looking very nice man, thats a lot of time put into that car.
I just bought a 68' cuda and its in amazing shape with original white paint still on the body.
I have a rebuilt slant six going into the car with headers into dual exhaust just like yours.

I decided to go with a mild upgrade cam for the six. Similar to a RV cam, with 252 duration.
