I have a TBI Superchip on it, 2 and 3/4 inch stainless steel exhaust, 4.11 gears, and yes, have pounded on a factory 5-speed Z28. I happen to be the one talking reality. My truck in stock trim could beat the Camaro with just 4.11 gears. It's all about the gearing. They are shorter than stock and bring the front end of my truck way up when I stab the gas. BTW, truck still gets 19-22 mpg. Bye.
