I dont hate on any fast car, hondas are clean loooking jdm,s. But ther just not the best for boost, they have siamese cylender bores...which means there completely surrounded by water jacket. No support and they have a tendancy to tweak under high stress...so wen a boosted honda suddenly wont start, they tweaked, causing the pistun to carve a fuckin ravine in ur cylender walls. It happens all the time, just a matter of wen, but...9 sec civic...not bad. I will give props

they make block stiffeners that get pressed into the block that have holes in them for coolant flow. after you press em in, you usually have to bore the block a little bit to get shit round again. lack of cylinder support is a thing of the past.

honda blocks are not weak you don't break block you crack sleeves and iv'e seen plenty of dd hondas over 500hp with stock sleeves its all in the tune and thats bullshit that a stock block can't handle more the 8-11 psi the psi doesn't matter its the hp and the psi will be determind on what size turbo you have the bigger the less psi you will need to hit your goal

Felix def has one of the most impressive honda's in the north east. Especially since its a privately owned/tuned car, also Cunye's red bubble is very impressive, im not a honda guy but i respect them for damn sure, and jersey is probably one of the biggest areas in the country when it comes to putting out fast honda's and cars in general... well done man, ive always been a fan of this car, even back in the Ave P days. Honda blocks are weak? What a toolbag. Besides, no stock block can take more than 8-11 pounds of boost. My EK with a STOCK 1.6 block with different rods and pistons holds 350hp on the dyno quite well. Daily'd for over a year. STFU if you don't know.

Had a friend run 14 psi on a stock block with an amazing tune for over 2 years before he decided to make more power. Was around 400+ he had a built head though. Nothing crazy just blox cams and supertech valve train. He ran a 35r though.

9.7 second 1/4 mile with 94octane pump gas and the car was a daily driven with stock full interior Navigation system,TV ect, nothing stripped, no roll cage. on race gas it did like 9.11. no nos

I respect Domestics they are badass. you gotta take into consideration that that evo is only a 2.0L 4Cyl and also AWD does not help in the top end on drags. RWD is better for top ends and for drags. I bet you this civic on this video won't be able to pull a nine second with full stock interior full stock weight and pump gas on boost alone. it requires ice too unlike the evo. honda blocks are weak. that civic probably is not a daily driver.

True true, both vipers are I think 8.4 or 5 L. As far as 2.0 4cyl's go the 4g's in evo's rule it. Civics 4cyl's stock will outlast anything, domestic, exotic anything. But once boosted for somewhat big power that goes to hell.
